We visit Ale House at least once a week I don't know what's going on lately, that when I order HOT wings they bring out Medium sauce wings. There was also a tiny bug in pur salad.
We went 3 weeks ago, and the first time the server said he would bring new wings, around 5 mins went by the bring the wings turns out they just mixed the previous medium sauce wings with Hot sauce. While waiting we asked for a side of hot sauce. When they bring the wings you can tell right away that the sauce they put was medium (again)!!! I asked for a Manager and asked if she can please tell me what sauce did the wings had she says hot when i show her the side of actual hot sauce she says that's also hot sauce, she then realizes there's a clear difference(color and texture) and offers to bring a new order of wings. Asked me if I wanted 6 or 12. I said I only need 6. I'm not going to be an abuser. She mentioned it was going to take a couple of minutes for the wings to come out, took 33 minutes!!! For 6 wings 😅🫠.
Like 3 minutes before the brought the wings I tell our server, at this point I already have no appetite, please bring our check, and then magicly the wings come by. As someone that works in the Reataurant industry this seems a bit personal. I understand if they were busy or at least they would pretend to care and let us know "they are almost" out or something. They didn't charge us for the wings but it was an eeh experience,we've been going to this location for the past 3 years, from having bad service, they got waaay better this year until this experience we recently had.
The host, bartender Zach and server Manny are always great.
Hope kitchen/Management gets better training/communication/support to avoid this.
Our server last week was good but she barely paid attention to tables, not only ours in her section In general. It's like if somehow they are relying on the tablets that are now on the tables that some servers don't put on effort to check...
Read moreHaving been to a few Miller’s locations, this location was decent but definitely needs improvement.
Visited on a Tuesday afternoon. Not very busy at all. Few tables occupied, bar relatively busy.
I went with a friend and only got one dish to share, a double Zingers mountain melt. We also both ordered sweet tea.
Service with our waitress Amber was very friendly and started off quick, and we also received our drinks in only a minute or so.
We tried our sweet teas only to realize that both had this off-putting smoky flavor. Not in a good way at all either, and not like any other sweet tea I’ve tasted. It was more like cigarette smoke. Very unappetizing, and honestly I’m not sure how they managed.
Thankfully we exchanged our drinks for soda and they were fine then on.
As for our service, after ordering our entree, we were left with around a 40 minute wait. In that wait time, although our waitress passed us on multiple occasions, not one time in this entire period did they check on us or give updates, or refill our drinks when we ran out only around 20 minutes into our lengthy wait time. Very lackluster service compared to my previous experiences with Miller’s locations where waiters would check on us every five minutes or so, not to mention our same dish would arrive in only 20 minutes at other branch locations with a restaurant three times as busy.
The mountain melt itself was good overall. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the tenders were crispy too, but evidently the dish was left out to sit while we waited on our server to deliver the food. The sauce had completely soaked into the tenders and the cheese had firmed by the time we had received them, evidently proving this.
Other than the service causing problems with our experience (and the fowl sweet...
Read moreWe arrived just after 10pm and were told there was no server for the patio and we declined to eat inside. Seemed a bit short sighted to not offer outside dining when that is the safest given CDC recommendations, but ok. We instead placed an online order for pick up that said it would be ready in over an hour. We returned at the prescribed time and called to tell them we were at curbside pick up. They told me the order would be ready in just a few. 12 min later I called back and was told they did not have an order for me, I must be at the wrong store. I read out the address from my order (I was @ the right place) and someone came out to see the confirmation I had. 10 more min later a manager came and said that for whatever reason there was no ticket for our meal, but it was in the computer. I have worked in many restaurants and know that for an order there are many tickets printed. The POS will have an electronic record. A ticket will print in the kitchen, and with covid there is often second ticket printed up front to keep orders organized on top of a customer copy as well. I imagine our order was given away to someone else. The manager did apologize in an off hand way and said they would make the order as quickly as possible. All in all we were in the parking lot for 56 min waiting for food we had already waited to come pick up for over an hour. The food was fine once we got it and the problem was "solved" but it just felt so unorganized and far too much trouble for a night out we still had to have at...
