Moffat Station Restaurant — Restaurant in Winter Park

Here for a wedding and i wanna say first everyone was great all weekend and all the bartenders are awesome. This review is for the worlds worst breakfast I had when we were leaving. Ugh. I ordered an omelette with steak, bell peppers, cheese, onions, and tomato. What I got was an omelette with hamburger, onion, tomato and no cheese. Hamburger in an omelette is disgusting and hardly can be passed as steak. So that’s that, what really sucked was how our server Adrian didn’t care in the slightest. I waitressed for 8 years and if I saw that someone literally didn’t touch one bite of their omelette I’d ask if something was wrong or see if I could fix it, or even ask if they wanted a box. Dude couldnt care less. Made me pay $13 for eating 6 of my tator tots. Again didn’t even give us a box so i couldn’t at least give that atrocity of a “steak omelette” to someone else. Complete waste of money and food. Could have easily been fixed but he didn’t offer or even check. Gave us bill and that’s it. Still starving. You...

There is 'happy hour' from 4-6. The sign says $3 micro brews, but when going to pay they were charging $3.50-5 for happy hour beers. When asking the bartender, we couldn't believe the attitude...she literally said 'yeah it says $3, that doesn't mean anything'. Well, sorry your sign was wrong. We ordered beer under a certain pretense. You can't just change the price after the fact. She ended up giving us an extra beer, but only after we wouldn't give in. We also ate food at a table. Server was nice, and food was fine. The menu in the room advertising the restaurant, and the menu in the actual restaurant, were very different. All in all, it is convenient if you are staying in the hotel, but if I were staying again...I would probably just...

First, the person running the restaurant performed a miracle over the 2 hours we were there-- she ran the floor, waiting, bar, and greeting roles alone for the entire night, seating maybe 20+. I do not know how many were doing the kitchen, but they did prep, meal delivery and bussing. I think. Anyway, they were patient, very kind and friendly, the food was good, and all order was good and clean-- we were amazed as observers. This should never happen, but because of illness and quarantine in Feb 2021, it does. We had to wait a bit over an hour to be seated in a very large empty untended room, but we social-distance chatted w/ some other nice folks and soldiered on. Thanks Moffat, that...
