We arrived a little later than expected and being new to the area had a little trouble finding the Ski4less Beavers ski shop. Turns out it is inside the Mountain Lodge. Arriving 5 minutes before closing, at 6pm, we meet Ethan. He was busy at that time with other renters but assured us he would take care of us. And he did. I needed to rent skis in a pinch and chose this place because of the lower prices. The selection of demo skis was very limited and I had to settle for something that was less than ideal for the conditions. I was given skis that were not waxed and sharpened. I would expect any ski rental shop to have functioning equipment, but apparently it “stopped working” a few days ago. The staff were nice and helpful, but they can only do so much with what they have to work with. Definitely not the experience I envisioned renting in the demo ski tier.
