I wish I had a better experience. I have visited other locations and received much better service.
I placed an order online to be picked up on a Saturday. I receive a call two days prior from Tara stating my order was ready for pick up. I informed Tara I had ordered online and requested to pick up on Saturday between 10:30a and 11a. She stated when the online orders come through it defaults the pick up date to the next available date and updated my pick up date in their system. I called the day before and spoke to Tara again to ensure my order would be ready for pick up on Saturday between 10:30a and 11a. She was not very friendly and had trouble locating my order. I offered the order number and she stated their system did not have the capability to search order numbers. She then found my order and she stated the cakes were ready for tomorrow. I stated to her that I was under the impression the cakes were fresh and I do not want to pick up cakes that were a few days old or stale. She stated they bake fresh cakes everyday and the cakes will be fresh, bagged and ready to go. Before I was able to thank her she hung up the call.
For a business in the Winter Park area I would have expected a lot more in terms of customer service and friendliness. The online ordering system obviously needs an update per Tara's comments along with staff training on phone and customer...

I went in to get 4 mini Bundt cakes for my employees. The young woman informs me they only sell them in 12's. I couldn't believe it. But since I really wanted something small they could all enjoy I agreed to buy the 12. I didn't want to take all 12 to only 4 employees so I figured I would take the other 6 home to my family to enjoy. But when I asked her to pack them in two separate box you would think I asked for them free. There was NO Way she was going to give me a second box. I even said I would pay for it. She was not going to budge on the quantity or the box. So I asked her....you would rather forfeited a sale of 12 than give me a second box. She said that is the way it has to be. I said then you can keep them and I will go somewhere else...permanently. When I got outside a woman was getting in her car and she said to me....I couldn't believe what just happened to you.    Read moreThe Winter Park location has its address listed with Uber incorrectly sending all the drivers a mile away where they will then cancel your order because the store does not exist there and then it will get passed on to another driver who can waste their time trying to do the same thing.. So delivery could take hours. The Winter Park village location does not seem interested in fixing it. It's been going on for months and the manager I guess it's not interested in telling corporate who is hiding behind a website with no contact method. So if you continue to order on Uber for delivery they're just going to send your driver elsewhere you're better off picking a different location and not the Winter Park location.
