I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this Sleep Number location. On 07/04/25, I went in knowing exactly what I wanted: the iLE model, as I had already tried it elsewhere and loved it. The store didn’t have it on display, but salesman Nic assured me he could help. I made it clear I wasn’t looking for a sales pitch, only to know if/when there would be a sale. He said there wasn’t one, so I told him I’d come back around Labor Day when they usually offer 50% off.
A few days later, on 07/08/25, Nic called me saying he could get me 45% off and a $100 rebate if I bought right away. He pushed hard that this was the best deal I’d get, even casting doubt that Labor Day would bring 50% off. Based on his assurances, I moved forward.
Fast forward to September: the exact model DID go on sale for 50% off. To make matters worse, the $100 rebate I was promised was denied because the purchase had to be made by 07/07/25—something Nic failed to disclose. When I raised this with him, his response was simply “sorry about that,” with no attempt to fix the situation or make it right.
At best, this was sloppy and misleading salesmanship. At worst, it was a deliberate tactic to push a sale before Labor Day. Either way, I feel misled, frustrated, and denied the deal I originally intended to wait for. For a company built on trust and long-term customer relationships, this is unacceptable.
Buyers, beware: make sure you get everything in writing and don’t rely on the word of the...
Read moreI've been a long time Sleep Number customer, owning about 6 beds. I love the products and I've worked with the same sales rep (Dotty) for years. I visited this location recently. It's a brand new store, laid out with plenty of room. I like things being spaced out because your bed and how you sleep are personal to many people. Talking to a consultant needs some discretion and space. I absolutely think a Sleep Number bed is worth its price tag, regardless of which end of the spectrum you buy at. Tell your consultant what you're looking to spend and ask about options to make a less expensive bed feel better. The only thing I've ever been disappointed by is problem resolution at the corporate level. So during your trial period, make certain everything gets resolved to your satisfaction,...
