Disappointed After a Long Wait and Subpar Food

I was excited to try this place since I live nearby and drive past it often. It’s a small, cozy spot with only four tables. When I walked in, two families were finishing up and one was waiting on their food. I placed a to-go order around 7 PM, spending about $70.

Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill. After waiting 45 minutes, the young woman at the counter came over for the third time to apologize and assure me it would be “just five more minutes.” While I appreciated her being polite, the repeated delays were frustrating.

When I finally got my food, it was disappointing. The quality was subpar—maybe it would have been better if it had been fresh. The sushi was placed in to-go containers and then packed at the bottom of the bag, with the warm food on top, which ended up heating the sushi and ruining the texture.

On top of that, the crispy tofu was anything but crispy, and the breaded wings were soggy and lacked any real flavor or crunch. Everything just felt like it had been sitting too long before being handed over.

Overall, it just wasn’t the experience I was hoping for. I really wanted to like this place, but between the long wait, poor packaging, and underwhelming food, I’m not sure...

My girlfriend and I decided to try this spot for the first time and were so thrilled with our experience! The decor was nice, the prices were so great, BUT THE FOOD…was top tier! We started with Thai Tea and the Thai Green Milk Tea. Both were so good, we couldn’t decide which one was better. Then we had wings, tossed in Ga Pow sauce. chefs kiss SO GOOD. We then got the spider roll, avocado roll, and the queen roll. The presentation was impeccable and the flavors were so satisfying. And our waiter, Teresa (hopefully I spelled your name correctly) was there for us in anything we asked for. If I could rate it higher, I would. Cozy little place that just opened up but I can already tell they are gonna be great! I live in the neighborhood and have been waiting for them to open!

The owners are super nice, I strolled in after grocery shopping and they sat me down and got me some ice water because this heat is crazy...

They recommended the fried chicken sushi rice bowl and it was very good, amazing presentation and overall quality of the rice and chicken was on point even for take out!
