Very kind hearted people here !!!! 😊💝 My 12 year old son and I came to beautiful Iowa in the quaint and cute little village of Winterset, Iowa on June 19, 2021 to see the Bridges Of Madison County, Iowa. We stopped for a late dinner around 8 p.m. in the lobby of this very nice Hardee's, a real treat because there are so few of these Hardee's restaurants back home in Wisconsin. We were greeted by a very nice and kind blonde young man, who seemed excited to see us since their restaurant reopened after the Covid-19, and they were getting things ready to reopen the dining area soon. I told him it was nice just to get a hot meal from a Hardee's because it was wonderful to eat a treat from Hardee's because it's rare for us to find Hardee's restaurants anymore. We also told him we were starved and this food at Hardee's was very good, excellent in fact. When we got the Hardee's Star Burger and Chicken Sandwich, they were wrapped very nicely by the other staff members who made our food. This young man took our order and was very kind as we asked about the bridges and he said he didn't know much about them, even though he was born and raised there, but he was very helpful and asked his manager who was very nice and kind also. She went out of her way to help us at such a late hour, when the sun was about to go down and it was almost too late to find the last bridge on our trip, she took out her phone and Google mapped out where Roseman Bridge was, one of the covered Bridges Of Madison County, Iowa for us, writing down the directions for us as well, then she asked another very kind and nice young man who also took his phone out and Google mapped it out for us and told us there was also a gift shop that was open till 9 p.m. We said thank you very much for all your help we then said have a good night and they all said good night have a good trip home and we waved, a few little goodbyes, good nights, we said thank you, your welcomes were heard as we were leaving. I got in my car a shed a small tear, I felt so happy, welcomed and at home here and treated like a friend back home in Wisconsin. The manager had beautiful reddish blonde hair and she was very kind to help us find the last bridge before going home. We found the last bridge with ease and no problems at all, this was excellent directions that were given to us by the nice and helpful crew members who Googled the directions for us. The manager reminded me of one of my beautiful cousins back in Michigan where I was born and raised. We have this same kindness shown to us back home in Wisconsin, but I have to say this, Iowa people are some of the sweetest people on earth and I would come back to this Hardee's and I highly recommend it. It was a wonderful experience here and It was sweet, just like home, they made us feel so comfortable, loved as a customer, they were respectful and very and...
Read moreJustin at the Winterset iowa location was so rude, when we asked if the sandwich was a smaller size with the small meal, he rolled his eyes, huffed and stormed off! He told the elderly lady working at the counter "YOU deal with them!" In a very mad offended manner. The elderly lady apologized for his behavior .she was kind and finished our order. The woman who seemed to be the manager kept pacing back and forth doing nothing but licking her lips constantly and opening and closing her mouth repeatedly...she refused to ask me what I needed.when I stood at the counter saying excuse me?. just some bbq sauce please? Nope.. she refused to help. The ketchup container/pump was out of ketchup but when I asked for some at the counter, it was the elderly woman who helped me, again, as the mouth smacker and justin with glass earrings refused. Finally, the place was filthy. There was pop on the floor between the counter and the condiment area, there were dried up lemon slices with ALOT of gnats/flies swarming IN the container, the grape jelly packets were broken open and stuck to other packets, the floors needed swept and mopped, and not once was there a single...
Read moreI usually like Hardee's but I have had a string of problems lately. The one on SW 9th and Army Post I asked how large the Pork Chop Breakfast sandwich was and the person on the Drive thru didn't know and didn't care to find out, she just shut off the speaker and ignored me. I pulled up to the window, she wouldn't answer when I knocked on it, I was asking for a Manager, manager didn't know and cared about as much as the person who waited on me the first time. They did bring out a Pork Chop in tongs to show me the size. I personally will not go back for a while. They act like they could care less about CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! One Simple Question, how big is it ??? This is not Rocket Science. I just wanted to know so I could decide on whether to buy one or two !!! Then the Hardee's in Creston on Hwy 34 would not cash a $100 bill, said to go over to Casey's and have them cash it !!!! They said they had had a fake one so Corporate told them not to take any through the Holidays !!!! Don't they make Pens that you can use to see if it is fake ???? Again Not Rocket...
