I came to Wiscasset from NYC on a cold February day to look at real estate. My first stop was Treats, where I had a delicious latte and scone to escape the chill. The staff was warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the food served. They told me about the village, and even a bit about the history of the houses I was to look at. I purchased an old home during that visit and now live in this wonderful village, so I get to stop in to Treats daily. It's my go to place for wine, cheese, basic provisions, salad or a sandwich and, of course, the best coffee and cake. The coffee is the best in the area and the hot beverage set up makes it feel like a nice and comfy bed and breakfast. They have a nice cooler for craft beer with a wonderful selection of craft beer.
