So I decided to give this restaurant a try and went with some friends. The inside is nice and looked promising. We ordered our food at the counter like you would at a fastfood restaurant. The cashier had her mask on but down around her neck and sported long painted nails. Very long. So we get our food and find our own table, no seating by a host/hostess. For the prices the prices they charge it should have been full service. $39 for one steak burrito and three steak tacos, two small cups of corn, plus sodas. The tacos were on the rather smallish size and the burrito was large. It should have been with all the rice inside of it. So I go to eat it and it's cold. As in they're pre-made and just need to be warned up in whatever manner they do it. So I took it back and they tried to tell me that it was just one side that was cold. One side? None of it should have been cold. No one waited on us and the food wasn't that good. Needless to say, we won't be going back anytime soon, more...
Read moreLa Taqueria is my new favorite restaurant and my enthusiasm for everything on the menu is not an exaggeration. The tacos are wonderful and offer a full range of flavors for any palette (personally, I highly recommend the chorizo and the tropical chicken), the burritos will show you who's boss, the salsa and fresh chips are a delicious companion, the elote is so tasty you'll keep eating long past being full, and while you wait for these culinary delights to be made, I suggest grabbing a fresh mango slushy as they are one of the most delicious and different items they have to offer. Now that they have secured their liquor license I look forward to trying their margaritas as well! Twist my arm, guess I will have to...
Read moreFinally had a chance to try this place, and wow, I was missing out! The extensive menu made it tough to choose, but we ended up getting the Fire Burrito Bowl, 2 tacos (al pastor and shrimp), and an order of ceviche. The burrito bowl was huge and flavorful, and the fire-roasted jalapenos added some spice. The ceviche was top notch. A good amount of shrimp and fish and very fresh. Served with tostadas or saltine crackers. The tacos were also very good. Lots of protein options to satisfy any taste. Loved the different salsas/hot sauces available as well. There were even options for the kids - chicken tenders and fries. Highly recommend this taqueria for a quick and...
