Arby's — Restaurant in Wise

TL:DR: don’t buy microwaved Mac and cheese when you can bake some at home better.

I don’t make reviews at all but because my experience was so jarring, I had to say something. I ordered 2 items for myself, the white cheddar Mac and cheese and the Chicken Cheddar Ranch sandwich. The sandwich turned out alright so no complaints about that. My issue was the Mac and cheese itself. Going through a slow (slow as in not being busy), I’d still expect Arby’s to take their time because they value quality way more than fast service unlike McDonald’s. When I got my food, I didn’t get my utensils for the Mac and cheese. I went back through the drive thru and asked for the utensils. I ended up getting a small attitude from the person in the window like it’s a big deal to give me a utensil for the Mac and cheese. I guess I was expected to eat the food with my bare hands I guess. Well, when I got to eating the Mac and cheese, it is IMMEDIATELY clear that the team here microwaved the bowl. The center was so cold, the frozen macaronies were barely melted while the outside was..warm. Even though the lid said the food was “extremely hot.”

Anyway, not sure if this is an isolated thing, maybe it’s just this particular store or whatever. But wow. What an experience. Crispy chicken was still...

I will be clear when I say that myself, my wife and son love Arbys but we will never eat at Wise VA location again. It took 30 mins to get my food to go inside and there was 0 people inside besides myself and employees. Right before I get my food the cashier looks back and says be sure that chicken sandwich is plain, guy says oh yeah it's ready to go. Get home and bring dinner to wife and son. Ordered no red ranch on 4 beef and cheaders. Not only is it on there but excess like spiteful amount. Son opens his chicken sandwich and it's got same way with ranch. Excessive. I'm a laid back guy, never rude in restaurants in anyway. I'm a model customer honestly and don't think I said it did anything to offend the employees in any manner. There kids mind you and I never complain but it was done out if spitefulness and if I was rude OK then maybe warranted but I was far from it. Never a word of why it's taking so long, nothing. So needless to say ended up cooking anyways and wasting 30+dollars on sandwiches the dog ate. Sincerely, a little...

I rarely have issues out of this Arby's. They are my local establishment and I enjoy a run out to them about twice a month. (There are plenty other places to choose from)The reason for my 4 star review is for the fact of getting my order wrong at least half the time I go out there. The last trip I made I had 4 people I was ordering for (to go on lunch for work) and there was a sandwich in there that nobody had ordered. Just a regular roast beef. This threw a loop in things because nobody really wanted it. So I ended up taking it. It wasnt like there was a tomato on it that shouldn't have been, but more than not my bag is either missing something completely or the complete wrong items.
