McDonald's — Restaurant in Wise

I was trying to get home as quickly as possible because we had just been put under a tornado warning after I had already paid for my food. The weather was absolutely horrible and super scary. Ordering and paying wasn't quick, but it wasn't absolutely awful either. There was one truck in front of me in at the window you pick your food up at. I waited more than 25 minutes behind this truck....after 10 minutes had passed, I literally counted how long I'd been waiting. I honestly should've just left...but I had 2 hangry kids who would not have anything else at the moment and I was just exhausted. Our power was out at home because of the storms and I just kept telling myself, "Oh, it'll only be a minute or so more...." I actually tried to call the number listed online 3 times to see if they could just give me a refund or run my food out to me or something, but no one ever answered. Idk what was going on with the vehicle in front of me. Finally, after about 30 minutes (being stuck behind just ONE....ONE! vehicle in front of me) I was able to pull forward and get my family's food. The poor girl at the window apologized (I don't blame her, not her fault at all) and told me she had to remake my son's slushie because it had already completely melted by the time I got to the window. Apparently my food had been sitting there with the melted slushie as well. We tried to eat it in the car but it was so cold and disgusting that no one in the car could eat it....including my 11 year old son who eats literally anything. We decided to wait until we got home to see if the power was back on to heat it up in the microwave. The power was on and we heat the food up again but 🤮! I understand that it's McDonald's, "fast" food, and in Wise County....but even after re-heating it in the microwave, I've never had food this bad (even from other fast food establishments in Wise County) in quite awhile. I'm very displeased because we frequent here quite a bit when we're in a rush and normally it's not too bad....normally not great....but not THAT bad. I wasted almost $50 on "fast" food that was probably worse than the food I...

I spend at least $35-40 a day at this McDonald’s because I’m in a special diet and they are the only place I like frappes as I’m on an all liquid diet. This is my food, even if it’s a liquid so I still expect my food to be made correctly. When I have to pay $40 bucks for 3 frappes thru DoorDash because of the snow storm that’s a big deal. So my drinks show up and there’s 2 inches missing out of each. So not larges but mediums more like. So I call the store and tell the worker who answered this she gets mad and hands the phone off to who I assume is the manager who gets smart with me and says their machines are calibrated to know each size well I’ve bought many a drink here and sometimes they fill them so full AND will hand them straight to u while dripping wet sticky syrup all over u and your car! So that machines does over fill so it’s capable of under filling as well as my order proves. I don’t appreciate the attitudes. I don’t appreciate how snarky and smart they were to me saying well we can replace one but not all of them. Keep your freebie sister this is the last of my money this place will ever get and the owners can thank the day crew...

Worst experience ever, will not be going back. Me and my boyfriend went to McDonald's in Wise Virginia and ordered via drive through 2 bacon egg and cheese mcgriddles 1 without the cheese. Well they give us 2 bacon egg and cheese biscuits instead so my boyfriend walks in there and explains what we got and we need the mcgriddles 10 minutes later he walks back out to the car and I open 2 sausage egg and cheese mcgriddles by this point I'm mad so I walk them back in there the line was huge and I walk up to the other side of the counter and tell them what happened again he then doesn't say sorry or anything he takes the wrong order back so then I proceed to ask if we can have that order to since they messed up yet again and he says in the most sarcastic way "suuuree" so I will not be going back to that place ever again, rude staff and they don't know how to make an...
