Where do I begin. I had stage 3 colorectal cancer in 2011. Prior to having cancer, I could eat anything! After 2 months of chemo, 2 months of radiation, 2 weeks in ICU, and 2 years recovering from 3rd degree burns, I quickly realized the way I use to eat was long gone. Where I once could eat “wheat” and “cows milk” products, eating them now made me wish I was dead. I’m talking deathly ill. It was sad knowing that I’d no longer get to enjoy my grandmother’s homemade buttermilk biscuits. I really have to be careful what I eat. It’s just not worth being sick.

After reading what felt like a thousand reviews on ETSY, I found Mary, at Chocolate Chipped Bakery. Oh my god, I’m sooooooo glad I reached out with some questions and decided to try the gluten free and also the vegan gluten free chocolate chip cookies. #1 They’re made with what I consider THE BEST gluten free flour, King Arthur. King Arthur flour doesn’t bother me at all. #2 These cookies are THE BOMB! So much so, in the past 2.5 weeks, I’ve spent almost $200 on gluten free cookies! Mary, Lauren, Derek, and the rest of their crew know what they are doing when it comes to baking delicious cookies! My absolute favorite is the gluten-free vegan chocolate chips. Holy cow. They are fantastic. If you suffer with gluten intolerance, and dairy/eggs issues, you really need to try the vegan gluten-free chocolate chip cookies. Your tummy...

This review is in reference to the Double Chocolate Chip cookies that I purchased from the Chocolate Chipped Bakery, a couple of times. I assume that the other products sold are just as great. The Double Chocolate Chip cookies are large. The base of the cookie is over 3.5 inches in diameter. And there is a mound over the base. The taste is tantalizingly decadent and delicious to the taste buds. It is definitely a comfort food that activates the endorphins in the brain to create a sense of well-being and conjures reminiscing the good times of life. Especially after putting the cookie in the microwave and the chocolate chips become creamy. And the CHOCOLATE after-taste that lingers for awhile...WOW!!!...I would...

Chocolate Chipped Bakery does "bake happiness 1/4 lb. at at time"! Their cookies are fresh, big and chocked full of delicious ingredients. I discovered them at the Farmington Farmer's Market and fell in love. I have since placed an order on Etsy for my grandchildren in Minneapolis as a "back to school" treat. They arrived just a few days after I ordered them and in the words of my grandson "these are really yummy"! Don't worry sweet grands, Grandma will be sending you more cookies from Chocolate...
