I found a great little Mexican spot that also operates as a meat market. It was lunchtime when I visited, and the seating was limited—about ten seats lined up along a corner counter. The place was definitely busy, but the service was friendly, fast, and efficient. Tables cleared quickly, and there was this seamless, almost invisible flow of traffic that kept everything moving. The food was fresh and flavorful. I ordered tacos a la carte—two asada and two carnitas—plus a California burrito with asada. Of course, I couldn’t skip a refreshing horchata and a Jarritos on the side. The only things I wish were different: it would’ve been nice if salsa and chips were offered complimentary, and the carnitas were a bit on the dry side. Overall, it’s not just a great local spot for tacos and burritos, but also a place I’d want to return to for fresh meat. Definitely worth a visit!

The name sums it up well: Tacos (& tortas & burritos) & a butcher shop. A really out-of-the-box combination but it seems to work so I'm not questioning squat. I went with chorizo and al pastor tacos. They are very good street-style tacos. $2.50 each Packed full, with grilled onions & strips of radish (I know, never saw that before either!) and a bunch of lime wedges (well, half wedges) on the side. Two types of salsa also. I tried one, the red, and it is picante. Muy bueno. (Sorry šŸ˜ž) I brought the green home for later use. If you want a beverage, cans & bottles are in the cooler. $2.50 each. The only place to eat is a high counter along one wall. Stools or standing are your options. The music is authentic but too loud. Would've liked a fork to pick up the bits that fell out but fingers still work. Used a lot of napkins.

The tacos are very good, as authentic as you'll find them, and the salsas they give are also good. My favorite ones were Pastor and Cecina 🤤 The place has some seating options but it's a bit small, so most people would take out. I wouldn't recommend Tortas because: the telera is just like a hamburger bread in a telera shape, not what I was expecting tbh. The not so good part: Hm they would ration limes, like literally if you want one slice more you have to pay for it, that's not cool šŸ˜… same thing with grilled Chile/salsas you get what you get and "anything else is an extra "

The WORST place ever. I went to eat some tacos with my hubby and 27months old daughter. Ordered 4 tacos and Torta. A young lady server brought us 3 tacos. We thought one more taco was coming with the other meal. But then, the server served our meal to another customer and when i saw that, I realized she served wrong oder to us. So i told her we got the wrong order and the one she just served to another customer might be ours. We told her to take the one we had back, but she said just keep it. Because my hubby already took one bite from one taco. There were too much food for us. We just ate the one we ordered. I asked to the casher if i could get folks for my daughter and waited. Then the owner came and told me that we had wrong order, so we must repay them. ā€˜?????’ I wasn’t sure what he was talking about. So i sent my husband to the owner and stayed with my daughter to feed her. And the owner kept saying we have to pay for the meal that the server mistakenly served us and told us to keep. My hubby argued back that we didn’t know that wasn’t our order at the first time and explained him that if we knew we would not take someone else’s food. And the server was the one who served wrong food to customer. The owner was really insane. We didn’t want the wrong food either, so my husband brought them back, but the owner kept saying we need to pay. My hubby told him he could pay for the one taco he had one bite on, but not the others since that was not our order and it was server’s mistake after all. The owner didn’t care. They both kept arguing about ā€œrepayā€ the wrong food we had. At the end the owner said forget it, and he would trash the food.

I was very uncomfortable and felt really sorry to my daughter seeing that unfair and aggressive scene. I could not eat because of the unpleasant situation and experience.

It was extremely unpleasant experience ever. We will never go back that place again.

steak meet was like chewing a rubber. Hope my food was only one like...

Pancho's is a really solid Taco Joint in Wixom.

After moving to Michigan from California, I wasn't expecting to get the same quality/ authenticity in the Taco department, but Pancho's gets pretty close!

It's in a fairly unassuming location, and you'd probably pass right by if you didn't know what to look for. The interior is fairly sparse, and the main thing that'd be a detriment to my review is that there isn't much seating at all inside. There are a few barstools, with an attached table, but don't expect to seat your party of 8 inside the restaurant, especially if there's anyone else there at the same time. You can definitely tell that it is largely a Meat Shop that sells tacos, but it's not really a big deal as long as you're just looking for quality food.

Speaking of quality food, they rise to the challenge quite well! Pancho's has a rather large selection of Tacos, from the most basic ones you'd see everywhere to more obscure meats that you'd have to be a bit gutsy to try. Not all meats will please everyone, but there's certainly something here that you'll enjoy. I got a few of the more standard meats to try, and I didn't have a bad experience with any of them. Keto / Low-carb folks, Tacos aren't inherently keto-friendly, but if you order a few and skip the tortillas, you can still enjoy the experience here!

Overall, I'd say Pancho's is certainly worth a try if you're looking to cure your Taco...
