Scoreboard Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Woburn

Stayed at the hotel and ordered dinner expecting it to be great based on all the reviews. In the end it was like they ran out of food earlier in the week and sent a 16 year old to the frozen food section of Walmart to buy similar items and hope nobody notices. The results were awful.

The Description of Poutine on the menu is exactly as you would expect "A delicious mixture of french fries and cheese curds topped with rich beef gravy" The delivered product to the table was 15 french fries, melted shredded cheese (think walmart pre-shredded taco mix), and the cheapest gravy you can buy in a can. I'm guessing the 16 year old didn't know what cheese curds were and just identified with the word cheese and picked something cheap.

Steak tips were a decent cut of meat, nice and tender but marinated for 30 seconds before cooking. Very little flavor overall but was edible.

The "House battered Fish and chips" was a few fries and two tiny breaded Van de Kamp's fillets from Walmart. They were not batter dipped in house. They were thawed and popped it a deep fryer for 5 mins. The amount was also based on what a 6 year old would eat because that's the market for Van de Kamp fish.

Add to the fact that they were kicking hotel patrons out due to a band coming in with a cover charge made the whole experience awful. I have no idea why past reviews are so good on google and on other places like grubhub but my experience was the exact opposite. BEWARE! We went here this past Saturday night with some friends and my kids. My daughter ordered a martini - it was delivered with a CHUNK out of the glass, not a sliver or chip an actual CHUNK. She brought it back to the waitress who returned it to the bar, The bartender took the drink back and poured it from the broken glass, poured it into a new glass and reserved it to my daughter! Thankfully we had friends sitting at the bar who came over and told us what they had witnessed - WHO DOES THAT!?!?! I was enraged that someone would even consider doing something like that. We spoke to the manager Sean who seems less than concerned and said "I'll get you a new drink" we further pursued him due to his lack of concern over the incident explaining it would have been a very different situation had my daughter drank the drink and swallowed a chunk of glass, he was non-apologetic and patronizing at best! I couldn't help but wonder how the broken glass got by the bartender and then the waitress in the first place but the rest was beyond comprehension IMO! My daughter called the next day to speak to the GM (who's name was given to us by the manager) and left a message - still has not received a call back! Needless to say this is not the end of this story...at least for Scoreboard! As of today (Thur 5/25) we have reached out to 2 managers and emailed the GM requesting a call back - we have not received any! Which confirms they don't care about public safety! Go at...

DO NOT COME HERE. I am going to try to be as polite as possible when writing this but to be honest this Place doesn't even deserve the thought of a star. Granted, yes they were severely understaffed and yes we are in the pandemic but the service or should I say lack there of was mortifying. my Date and I arrived for a quick bite before the movies. We entered to a very full room of customers but were un-phased because we did see one or two open tables and we were the first ones in line to get seated. We waited for the hostess for 20+ minutes. ALMOST 30 MINS TO EVEN BE ACKNOWLEDGED IS UNACCEPTABLE. Never mind the fact that the Manager on that night was looking at us from the bar knowing very well the Hostess was GONE! He finally approached us didn't even apologize for the lack of staff or the fact it took over 20 mins to be approached. We finally got seated but I had no hope for any positive outcome in this restaurant. The waitress did come in a timely manor but I am thinking that is because we were directly next to the bar. We order our drinks and Meals and that's it. We never saw our waitress again and never saw our food. We left $20 for our beers and left. I truly feel bad for anyone working under these conditions however Don't waste your time and money here.
