The Bronx bar is my favorite place eat. As soon as you walk through the door you can smell the aromas of the pizzas cooking and the sauces being made by scratch. The marinara sauce is the perfect mixture of sweet and spice. The alfredo sauce is the richest creamiest Alfredo I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. It's so delicious it just melts in your mouth. An absolute must try is Sonal's handmade meatballs. they are Made fresh and truly a one of a kind. My favorite is the Philly cheesesteak sub. Whatever your taste buds like, If you're a vegetarian or like a hearty meat pizza or a delicious salad there's something on the menu for everyone. Speaking of salad their house salad dressing is one of a kind it's absolutely amazing. The other reason The Bronx bar is my favorite place to go is For the chill atmosphere the good customers the nice conversation and everybody makes you feel like you're at home. And I guess I'll save the best for last, Start from the top, the owners, Sonol and Raj are passionate about their establishment. They pay attention to detail, treat their employees like family and make sure that every guest leaves happy. I'm not sure how they did it but they have the best staff I've ever seen. You can tell they all work on the same team. Joni, the head bartender Always has a smile on her face and makes sure that you have a good time while you're there. The other main bartender Christine Is also one of my favorite bartenders You definitely won't be bored sitting at her bar while she's bartending. Then you have the cooks peanut works during the day and makes a fabulous pizza. Tiffany is one of the Newest family member to The Bronx bar and her cooking is spot on. Guadalupe works Friday nights and I've heard her calzones are the best. Matt Is the main cook at The Bronx and he really goes above and beyond making sure his food looks exquisite every time and if you wanna get creative he's your man. Just tell him you want to try something new and guaranteed you won't be disappointed. For Anyone that has not had the pleasure of experience at The Bronx bar should definitely take the time and come check it out Hands down best place to go...
Read moreI do not complain much in life as it does no Good. Mostly I turn into a one time customer.. My roommate and I made up our minds to get a Pizza, and try a place that we have passed by a hundred times.. Well in all faith to all of us, this is a true and honest rating. The waitress was nice, but over blew the quality of the pizza by double. I was asked how good and I was nice and said it was a 6, only because I did not want to hurt the feelings of such a nice lady... In reality it was almost pushing a 4. Medium pizza with a crust so thin you could almost see through it.. sparse toppings of fair quality.. not great.! Place was almost empty as I can see why. Left there with a bill of $23.00 Hungry, and you can see from my photo I am only small frame and med build. Could of eaten two of those skimpy servings.. This place is no match whatso ever for Flying Pie Pizza. Or Stark St Pizza on 92nd. Kitchen is not truly set up for a restaurant. Some old wore out ovens and a small something or other to cook on. Wal-mart fresh not frozen pizzas are better then this..at only 1/3 the price.. NOT KIDDING. Sorry will not be coming back here again. Hope they read this and make some changes before the new owners go Bankrupt. They can't live on the intake of the poker machines. With Loving...
Read moreThe WORST bartender ever. Short older lady with redish hair in a pony tail was rude, gave us the worst service I have ever experienced.. She Actually said she liked it when nobody was in there and it was slow. She turned her back on us and watched the big screen in front while we sat in the bar area. Never checked on us.. And she poured me a gin and tonic instead of a vodka tonic. We left and went to Yazi's.. Save yourself the time and skip this the bad...
