Luna Pizza — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

Upon first moving back to Colonia, Luna's was the first pizza venture due to convenience. That was almost 13 years ago pre pandemic. I have seen many negative reviews, some I sadly must agree with. But for the neighborhood family I look after barely 1.1 miles away from Luna, along with my fam and myself, we still love their pies. The best being plain cheese, second and third pepperoni followed by onion and pepper. (Appears they have changed who they receive their produce from as the quality is no longer as fresh with a stale taste, even if asking for the veg to be sautéed prior. But! For a local joint that has been around for many years and "usually" consistent. We love their pizza and sauce, especially. If you are looking for a dish such as a scampi, francese, or anything involving seafood, a fresh salad or decently grilled burger. - look elsewhere. And good grief avoid the gyro! My family and I have been ordering out from Luna Pizza for over a decade. Their pizza in general isn’t too bad however, if you order a single slice, expect the worst! I ended up ordering a rice ball and a single slice of pizza with two toppings. The single slice cost me $4! and it was the worst piece of pizza I’ve had in my life. The sausage was rubbery and tasted like garbage and the ham was also rubbery and very cheap tasting. The pizza was cold and burnt and I only took about three bites because it was disgusting. It’s obvious they took one of the single slices which was already cooked, likely sprinkling on a few toppings that were probably precooked frozen meats and then reheated up and burned.

I was babysitting my niece yesterday and we decided to order from this place since it was the closest to the house maybe like five minutes way. Both the girl who took my order and the delivery guy were very nice. However the rest was extremely disappointing. The food was disgusting. I asked for a cheeseburger deluxe with fries well done with provolone cheese and the burger on the outside was completely burnt but inside was very raw I almost puked. There was no provolone cheese anywhere but instead they smeared mayonnaise everywhere. The mozzarella sticks were okay but the slice of sicilian pizza had a very hard crust and practically had no taste. On top of it everything arrived cold and almost an hour after placing the order which is very surprising since the place is like five minutes away from the house. We’ll never order from this...
