This restaurant/bakery is exactly what Colonia needs! Let's begin with the outstanding staff. We walked in just to try this new restaurant and right away we noticed not a single warming heat lamp. It was a great surprise because that usually indicates a cooked to order establishment, which it is.

The staff is very informative and descriptive about the dishes, which was an added delight, because this was our first time eating Venezuelan cuisine. They helped make ordering something new very easy. While waiting for our food we were offered samples of some of the specialty drinks, which they make in house and it shows.

Now the food. We're not new to trying Latin foods like Peruvian, Colombian, and Mexican. But to our surprise there was a refreshing variety of flavors and textures each dish had to offer.

I think that most of these reviews were for the restaurant under the previous owners because there is no way this place should be 4.7 stars. Our previous experiences were so much better.

When I went to pick up it was not busy at all. If it was then maybe I’d understand the lack of attention to the preparation of these dishes. VERY disappointing meal.
