Rocco's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I was the only person on line and the counter person was too busy taking phone order after order to even acknowledge me. I went to the pizza maker and told him what I wanted so that I wouldn't have to wait for multiple phone callers to place orders ahead of me. I ordered a pizza with 1/2 sausage and 1/2 olives and asked if that counts as one topping, he said yes. After about 15 minutes the pizza was ready. When I'm about to pay, the counter person asked for $17+ for the one topping pizza so I inquired why so high. The counter person stated the pizza had two toppings. I told him I ordered two 1/2 toppings which is one topping as per the pizza maker but he would not honor it. Essentially I paid an extra $5 for only one topping. If I didn't have family waiting for the pizza, I would have just left the pizza there and go to another restaurant.... I was waiting to get loaded last night at shipper and they delivered to my truck. Brought extra plates. The driver and the guy on the phone was nice. Usually when I call a pizza place it’s like they’re in a hurry and I’m wasting their time. Got a large pie cheesy garlic knots and cannoli. Where I’m from we don’t have a lot of desserts like out here and he took the time to explain what each one was to me. Went with the cannoli that I have had before. Best cannoli I ever had. I wanted to save some pizza to take home to the gf so she could get that taste of pie from up here that we don’t have in Iowa. Idk If I can make the last 4 pieces last before than. If I’m ever in area again I’ll order from Rocco’s for sure. 5 star man and thank you again for going the extra mile to deliver to my truck and being nice after I had just drove over 12 hrs non stop. Order prices are so inconsistent; regardless of placing the same exact order on many occasions, prices change like the weather. You’re at the incompetent mercy of the person working the register when you call. Making any price inquiries results in the response that the prices just went up conveniently at the moment just when you called.

Asking for the owner is a different is a slice of pie as he is slick as his own marinara sauce. He tries to convince you that the register girl has been fired since your last incident while, you'll call the next time only to find the same register girls voice at the other end of the line.
