Jersey Pizza Boys — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I've come back to tweak my initial review from 3 stars to 5, and very honestly after just getting off the phone with Carmine, the owner, who immediately responded to my review..if I had the option to change it to 10 stars I would. Upon his request, I called the pizzeria and spoke to Carmine. Not only was he kind, sincere, and apologetic but he was also humble and the type of small business owner that deserves loyalty and support from his customers. He not only explained the reasoning (that made complete sense) for the issue, but apologized and owned it. We're all human, we all make mistakes, especially in the climate and world we currently live in. For me, whats most important in these situations with any business, is the desire to resolve the issue and make it right. One of the best parts of supporting small local businesses is the close knit human interaction you get in these situations, and the human aspect of the business that shines through when an owner has such desire to make little things like this right and wants to apologize.

I was already in love with the food at JPB's, and close to home taste it brings for me, so the desire to want to support those behind the business too is just an extra bonus. Jersey Pizza Boys is one of my absolute favorite pieces of moving to this area, and they will continue to be our pizza staple for as long as we're here and every single time we're passing thru after that!

(Summary of first review: literally the best pizza/true NJ Italian food in the area but had a few issues being able to get it, as I live far just enough away to have to use apps to get it delivered, and they repeatedly were cancelled a few times and it inevitably felt impossible to get the food we fell...

By far, some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life! They make more than one type of pizza. You must try the 'Iselin fair' pizza! Ever have a zeppoli? Imagine that fried dough stretched out with the most delicious, savory, homemade pizza sauce and fresh grated cheese on the top. They make a fantastic appetizer before you have your main course or pizza. And ever have a grandma's pie? You haven't had one like this! The same savory, delicious sauce on a thin crispy crust with fresh mozzarella cheese and if you get the margherita pizza, you get a combination of both mozzarella cheeses. ..Add the fresh basil and wow! Let's talk about the Cup and Chat pizza... pepperoni, arugula, balsamic glaze... drool...

Looking for a great deep dish? You have to try the Detroit pizza! I didn't get the pleasure to try it on this trip but my friend did and it looks absolutely incredible. It's a thick yet light pizza with a cheesy dark crust. If pizza isn't your thing, they have beautiful salads. My companions started with a grilled chicken salad with the balsamic vinaigrette. It looked amazing and they raved about the dressing. Don't forget dessert either. My other friend comes in just for their delicious multi layer chocolate cake Thirsty? They offer a full bar! I recommend the red sangria or try the coconut sangria! ... made fresh to order and is fantastic! I'm so happy I had the opportunity to stop in on my trip to New Jersey! I just wish they would open one up in Florida where I'm from! Be sure to stop in soon before this place becomes too crowded with long...

This place has terrible ownership and disgusting business practices. We initially ordered 3 pizzas from this restaurant through doordash. Our order was then cancelled by out doordash drivers. When we called the restaurant to ask about this, they informed us that our driver came to pick the pizzas up but didn’t deliver them to us. We then asked them if we can place the same order for pick up and we were informed by the owner that we would have to pay DOUBLE the price if we wanted to order again because he was a “victim” in this incident and he didn’t get paid for the initial order. We informed him that this was not our fault and that doordash should be compensating him. Nonetheless, he insisted that we would have to pay DOUBLE if we wanted to order from them. We were astounded by this response to we decided in the end to order from a different place. One of the people in our party then decided to leave a review on google about this business. 20 minutes later, we get a call from the Owner of this restaurant. He was incredibly aggressive, rude, and unprofessional. He called our phone number and proceeded to berate us to remove the review from google. As someone who is in the restaurant business, this reaction was absolutely DISGUSTING to experience. Do not order from this restaurant and support other businesses who do not harass their customers...
