It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders🤣🤷♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located. It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! The shop has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really enhances the experience.
I also love that everything here is halal, and they’re adding new items to the menu soon—can’t wait to try what’s next! Highland Boba has definitely become one of my favorite go-to spots....
Read moreAnother happy accidental discovery. I was scouting the neighborhood for properties and came across this cute little place in the middle of a neighborhood. At first I thought, wow, this is not the best location to have a business…but I’m happy it was there. The owner is a young Vietnamese gal who has an amazing personality. The walls are covered with manga (anime drawings) which is so cool. I love the fact that this young lady is so passionate about making boba, coffee, tea etc. I will go there just to support her business and hope it thrives.
