Starbucks — Restaurant in Woodbridge

Not the worst nor the best Starbucks I've ever been to. They do have a drive thru which is a major plus. It's also a great location if you are travelling on the Merritt and want an easy-off/easy-on to grab some Starbucks. Otherwise you are relegated to the rest stop Dunkin Donuts or Subways that are up and down the Merritt. Unless you are a Dunkin aficionado, there really is no comparison between the espresso blended beverages (lattes, etc) and food that Starbucks offers. When it comes to just straight coffee (non-lattes etc) Dunkin might have a slight edge. BUT when we're talking about the rest stop Dunkin's on the Merritt, which are a clear step below the average Dunkin, it's an entirely different story. I was in this location yesterday, 8/28/23, and saw a staff member vomiting into one of the trash cans then walking back to help customers in drive thru. As someone who used to work in food services, this is such a health code violation! What are you doing keeping sick staff members working with food? Do you not care about your customers getting sick? Nicely done. The only reason I have continued to come back to this location is because of two baristas, a woman with glasses, Tory? Cory?, and a young man whose name I believe is Ryan. Top notch service from them but others are iffy lately, good job with hiring Tory and Ryan... but vomiting employees? That's a no from me. Highly doubt I will be returning after witnessing that. The last time my boyfriend and I came here was in the winter and when we pulled up to the order taker a guy says “hi welcome to chilis” and then is laughing hysterically and can barely take our order. Just weird and really unprofessional. Today we came again since then and got the same guy at the order taker who literally would not let my boyfriend get a word out and kept saying “i can’t hear you” literally over my boyfriend talking. Seemingly to be annoying. And then proceeded to rush us through the order … while there was no one even behind us. We get to the window and again he’s laughing w his coworkers.
