My boyfriend and I walked into the store and purchased a ring and a resizing on October 3rd. My ring size is a 3.5. We were told we would RECEIVE the ring in 6-8 weeks. We were fine with that because it was supposed to be a Christmas present and that would have been perfect timing. After the 6-8 weeks had passed, we called back and were told it was still not ready. They also struggled to even find our order because they had gotten the name and phone number wrong, when we told them at the store when we bought the ring.... My boyfriend even made sure to clearly state his number and his name twice. As time went on we were confused as to why it was taking so long for a simple ring resize. We called again and they struggled to find our order AGAIN. After finally finding the order, they said that the place they sent it to, to get resized, could only get it down to a size 4. So they would have to send it to another place to get it resized to a 3.5. They said it would take another 2 weeks. At this point we were so frustrated and upset because it had already taken so long. It is now November 30th and I just called them again. They struggled to find the order, once again, and I was told the ring resizing is going to take another 8-12 weeks. How is this acceptable?! This customer service is so unprofessional and they ruined our experience. And our Christmas plans! I’m never going here again, and I’m getting the ring back to resize it...
Read moreSales staff was rude and unprofessional. We went to Zales Outlet store at Woodburn Shopping Center last Sunday 12/20/2020. There was a couple in the store being waited on by a salesperson and there were three other sales staff in the store. My daughter, whose wedding ring was purchased at Zales, her husband and myself, all of us are loyal Zales customers were in the store. After some time, a sales person finally came by my daughter and my daughter asked her about getting a second band for her wedding ring. The sales person said something to her and my daughter explained that the ring was purchased at Zales. The salesperson said "Oh" and then didn't have any ambition to show my daughter anything, or even ask if she could clean my daughter's ring, she just walked away. In the meantime, I was browsing several jewelry cases and not one person came and asked me if they could help me. My daughter would have purchased another band for her ring if the sales staff would have worked with her. I may have purchased something, but no assistance didn't make me feel welcome. Read moreI got my engagement ring here, no issues.. I come back in to get it sized and experienced the WORST customer service. First off, the guy helping me was super rude. I was looking at another band to add to my set, and he goes “um you should get a band that exactly matches your other band, but I guess whatever you want to look at” and reluctantly opened the case. He then went on to talk about how this was his “least favorite part of the job” which was watching brides to be pick what he thought would be an ugly ring stack. Then, my fiancé starts trying on bands, and he goes “oh wow, you have really small hands for a guy!” And what put me over the EDGE is that my fiancé tried on a band with diamonds on it, and goes “oh that’s too flashy for me, I’ll let her have the flashiness”. And the guy goes “oh don’t worry about upstaging her ring, her ring isn’t flashy at ALL”. My jaw dropped. I have NEVER experienced service like that. I was so stunned that I didn’t even ask to see a manager, I just left. I’m picking up my ring in a few weeks, and I am most definitely reporting him when I go up...
