I ordered a Stromboli Saturday night for takeout with mushrooms, pepperoni, and onions. When I got home I cut it in half and started to eat it I only found 2 pepperoni and a small piece of a mushroom and the onions were cut up so small I couldn't even taste them. When I called back to ask about this I was assured that he had loaded mine up with mushrooms. Well, he must have given mine to somebody else. He told me I should have brought it back down there but I was hungry and I had waited 30 minutes to get it. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for another one so I went ahead and ate it. The man after me ordered one with mushrooms and spinach. I wonder how his turned out. There was no apology offered. When I 1st moved to Woodfin about 3 years ago I went to Franks fairly often but after Saturday I will not be back and judging from his attitude he could probably care less. I feel like I was charged several dollars extra for toppings I did...
Read moreOver priced. WAY over priced. The cheese was cheap. Almost no sauce, driest pizza I've ever had. It was big in size but I threw most of it away because it was so awful. Don't waste your money as it's extremely expensive as well.
Thanks for the reply from the "owner". If you read my review it did not say anything about the flavor (or lack of), or me not "liking" what you made "special" for me. I was not expecting to pay $35 for a cheese pizza but I did it anyways because I was hungry and your establishment was close. I asked for "pink" sauce which is a white and red sauce mixed together. However, the pizza was so dry and the cheese was so cheap (it's rubbery texture was awful) and so much dough I literally had the hiccups because it was so dry and I had to wash every bite down.
Aside from that it's very uncomfortable to walk into an establishment that celebrates guns as yours does. I'm not sure why a Christian needs so many guns? Shouldn't we...
Read moreI haven’t had a slice of pizza in a while so I called up Frank’s and ordered a pie. When I got there Carl had the peppers and onion pizza ready but I noticed a sign about their cannolis, so I ordered a chocolate chip. Carl said okay and went back into the kitchen. What seemed like a long time for just one cannolis I continued to wait and watched as Carl scampered around the kitchen which I thought he was getting someone else’s order ready? I was just about to ask him what was taken so long, and then he produced the cannoli? He explained how having a cannoli sit around takes away from the flavor, and guaranteed that the pastry was worth waiting for. This was for my wife who grew up in Greater New York City and Queens and she has had her share of fine Italian cuisine. Needless to say, she took a taste and explained how much she loved it. Oh, btw the pie was excellent. ••••• for Frank’s Frank's...
