I went in the Woodstock store today with my two young children 8 & 5. It was about 5:15ish and I ordered to kids plain slims - only meat and cheese for the kids and two sandwiches for myself and my friend - as well as chips and bottle of water and soda for kids nothing for me. When I paid there was one other family in the restaurant and a line of cars in the drive through. We paid and sat down and my kids ate their chips..then after 15 mins I’ve noticed about 7 cars get served through drive thru but my kids meals aren’t even started…so I go to ask and a woman aggressively says “you’re coming - I’m short staffed” but I didn’t say anything…so I said fine then walked to the counter to ask atleast for the cup and water since my kids are just sitting waiting - and the same woman came over and got aggressive again and said “she’s not even supposed to be here” and told me to “just be patient”….that was rude af and I’m not in the mood for this but I don’t want to fight so I took a breathe and asked for a refund - but offered to pay for the chips…the woman is now in a huff and the other two gentlemen are just watching her now berate me in front of my children and only rang up the chips - but refused to give me a receipt for the refund…I asked when it will hit and she said prob tomorrow…and I asked for her name - to say who do I say helped me if it doesn’t go back through since you won’t provide a receipt- so then she began taunting me saying “what are you going to do, complain” so I responded no - but now I’m pretty pissed I’ve been yelled at in this restaurant now by this angry woman and I’m done. I asked what is her problem and why is she so aggressive and hostile - so she started yelling and said get out of her store.
Then I said I’d gladly leave and she told me to “yea get out and call corporate I don’t care”
I own a small business in the shopping center down the street on that road. I actually just purchased it and we’re doing a lot of community involvement with other businesses and JJ has been my kids favorite place so I had intended on seeing about a marketing partnership…however I will not be doing that now and to be honest I am done eating at Jimmy John’s.
You can check the tape but that manager woman was aggressive, hostile and just rude. Going to be sharing this experience with ALL of my customers going forward fyi - it’s a small community so word will travel.
Anyways - thanks to that store for ruining the sandwich shop experience there for me and my kids and for berating me in front of them. And I know she doesn’t care about customer satisfaction- but fyi even my 5 year old son when we left and he said “she was not nice daddy…I don’t like Jimmy John’s anymore”. Kids are perceptive.

I ordered at 1:26pm and then at 1:33 i got a call that they ran out of my bread u wanted. that’s fine i’ve been in service industry all my life i get it. Then, it’s been 40min and still no sandwiches. We live 8min away from store and were wondering what was up. The manager let us know on the phone that they only had one driver that was on 4 order at the same time. My girlfriend is also a delivery driver and we totally understand. He told us it would be on the way soon. Then, another 25min goes by so we call again (which is so embarrassing but i wanted to see family in town on my way to work so i wanted to know if that was possible) and the manager says he has no way of letting us know how much longer it will be and told us we had a $10 reward that is only redeemable by calling through the store to order. That was nice but I still want my sandwiches. It’s now 2:45 and my 80 year old neighbor comes slowly across the street to bring me our sandwiches. I thanked him profusely and cried because he had to walk so far for jimmy johns mistake. the last 2 times we ordered delivery to our home it was flawless, and im fine with a wait. However, if it’s going to take over a hour fulfill a delivery order 8minutes away, there should be a way to communicate that beforehand. i’ll just pick it up myself...

Only once did I have a problem with my order. The sandwich was missing some ingredients. I phoned, the CSR listened, and told me that they would give me a free sandwich the next time I came to the store. Well, it was MONTHS before I went back to the store, and when I did... sure enough, my name was recorded with the sandwich that I had a problem with, and they cheerfully provided me with a new sandwich free of charge. Well done !! THAT is customer service. The counter staff and the drive through window staff are all very pleasant, and focused on serving...
