Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Woodstock

Came here a couple of days ago with my mom. And we had ordered 2 smoothies and we told them 3 times I had a nut allergy me. They put peanut butter in my smoo these anyway and I had a reaction, they refused to remake my smoothies and honor to deal because they can claim they can't find it in the system. And then I had 2 coupons for free smoothies and they refused to honor them because they claim. Oh no, it's not just free smoothies anymore. You gotta spend 5 bucks first. I want to try to get corporate's number.They were stuttering and trying to cover the tracks like this.We're independently owned, so do not go to the Woodstock location.Just buy the ingredients and make the smoothie yourself. Went through the drive through with my mom who was driving. We ordered some sandwiches and smoothies. When paying, the lady at the drive through was forcefully insisting we leave a tip because “it’s nice for the workers to get a little extra.” My mom declined to tip for the drive through order and the lady slammed the window. The customer service was outright hostile. The drive through customer is not responsible for paying workers a living wage. Companies are; Or should be. I tip and tip well when appropriate but I’m not willing to expand tipping culture to the drive through to subsidize corporate profits. Won’t be returning. THIS PLACE IS EPIC SAUCE! I came in as a first timer and the staff helped me decide the best food and smoothie for me! I got the Peanut Paradise with whey protein and OMG IT WAS PERFECT! I paired it with a chicken bacon ranch flatbread to get the smoothie for $5.49 and let me tell you it was magnificent! I am honestly obsessed with this place. Me and my friend even played checkers while we waited! Of course we couldn’t finish our game because of how quick this staff is! Chloe is pure sunshine of a crew member!
