I'm very disappointed in the quality of this restaurant. Compared to other Wendy's, there is inconsistent food quality and depressing customer experience. Either they get it right or butcher it completely. This location even uses a robot to greet their customers in the drivethru because their employees don't know how to properly greet you. Once the robot is done pleasantly greeting you, its common for an actual employee to blurt out an "OK" or "huh", or something inaudible. Then once your food is received, be prepared to have at least 1 aspect of your order wrong. After many experiences at this branch, I can confidently say 50% of your visits will experience some form of issue with your order because this is a subpar branch and its saddening. Missing napkins, literally forgetting the buns for your burger, cold & unsalted fries, not rude but definitely uncaring employees, missing Frosty Keytag after you bought one, next to no ingredients after asking for XTRA of everything, no fork for your baconator fries, no BACON on your BACONATOR, have unwanted ingredients addrd to your sandwhich anyways, missing ingredients completely, etc... Whatever issue you can think of should be expected from this branch. I'm not saying these employees screw every little bit up, don't get me wrong, but be prepared for a commonly poor experience. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but my point is, it's a very simple food chain and customers should expect a very consistent, simple product, but that's too much for this Wendy's team. And I couldnt be more straight forward about it. I used to love going to Wendy's in general and would eat at one at least a few times a month. But this Woodstock branch (I recently moved here) makes me not want to since the next nearest ones (McHenry and Crystal Lake) are 20 minutes away. This is a shame and would not recommend this branch at all. This is coming from a #1 Wendy's fan for many years. I am hoping management will see this and not react harshly to the staff, but take this information and help bring this local Wendy's up...
Read moreI usually have a good experience here. Tonight my order was good but the blonde kid working the drive thru had a rude attitude for no reason. When he asked for my order, I ordered a simple meal with chicken nuggets and one of the key chain frostys. No changes or anything.. there was no response for a few minutes, not even "sorry one moment" so I said hello to see if he was still there. He got annoyed and asked again what I wanted. At the end of ordering I asked what came on something and all he can say is "umm everything" so I said "I'm guessing lettuce tomato and cheese" then he decided to actually list it out. when I got to the window I was holding my key chain for the free frosty.. He again was rude and said "I have to see the key chain" as if I wasn't holding it in my hand then "no i mean the other side of it" I've worked in fast food for most of my teenage and young adult life so I get if there was a rush but there was just 2 of us in the drive thru. Read moreI’ve lived by this Wendy’s for years now 5+ and in the last year this place has gone down hill. It’s super convenient and best price for cheap fast food, but that’s if your food is edible. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry my whole life, and so has my family /parents. I’ve never left a bad reveal because I get it, but it’s literally been like 4+ times now I’ve gone to this Wendy’s, im the only one there in line for the whole transaction, and I get ice cold food, it’s f nasty as hell when you go to grab food for your family and you get home and the food is literally undercooked and ice cold, the burgers were rocks this time and the biggest were pure cold fat. The fries were soggy as hell. This was our neighborhood spot and no way I will ever go back to give a chance. I didn’t want to leave a review the last 4+ times, but this was it, I was like why not, I’ll give them one more chance, as I pull up it’s empty, no way I could get terrible service right?
