Wingstop — Restaurant in Woodstock

Yesterday was my first visit to a Wing Stop and excited to see something like this in the area. It is more of a fast food carryout type restaurant that serves wings, fries and chicken sandwiches. The menu is very simple and not too many items to choose from. It was clean outside and inside the restaurant.

When entering the restaurant, I was greeted right away and asked if I was ready to order. After a few minutes of debating what I wanted, I gave them my order. The female that took my order was very polite and answered any question that I had. I ordered the 8 boneless wing meal with Parmesan Garlic and Original Hot. My food came out within 10 minutes of ordering.

The food came out fresh and hot. I spent almost $12 for the meal and I feel that amount of food for the price was pretty good. The chicken was perfectly cooked and not raw. The fries had a salty sweet taste and were nice and hot. It was a medium drink size that came with it.

There are two minor things that caused me to give a 4 star review instead of a five star review. With this being a carryout restaurant, I wish there was some type of tables or seating outside near there. Nothing fancy, just a few tables and chairs for a person that wants to eat before going to bowl. The minor inconvenience was that when I asked for some disposable silverware, I was told they were all out. I get that this is a newer location (About 4 months), but being a carryout type establishment, you should never run out of silverware...

I wasn’t going to leave a bad review but after being told I’d get a refund and still have yet to get it almost a month later I guess I will.

First off the order was pretty expensive for what it was I think bdubs is a better value. But we were told our order would be ready in 20min. My wife got there 5 mins late. The food was not ready, then she waited almost 40 mins after the pick up time. None the employees seemed to care that she had been there that only and didn’t say anything about what was taking so long (tender, fries and boneless wings.) she got the food, no apology for the wait, nothing. She drove straight home (less than 5 mins) the boneless wings were soggy and cold, the fries soggy and cold, the tenders were warm. I then complained to the manager because it was a $40+ order and the whole thing was pretty much a huge miss. The manager tried to convince me to take a store credit which I refused because the order was so bad. She told me it would take 3-5 business days maybe a week which is fine I get that. But it’s been almost a month now and I still haven’t received my refund. Don’t waste your time or money at this place. Starting off positive, Kimberly is so sweet and made our first ever Wing Stop experience amazing- everything was perfect.

The food is decently priced and the wings are big, juicy and flavorful. Love the sandwiches and tenders too- SO good. The ONE time our fries were made right they were drool-worthy.

Now we’ve ordered a total of 6 times and only had 1 “perfect” experience. The 5 other times (I’m not exaggerating) our fries were cold, soggy, some RAW, unseasoned (not even salted). I order everything extra cooked cause we like it crispy- the fries are just plain sad. They’ve given us the wrong drink size when we paid for the larges. We’ve had sauce dumped all over the inside of the bag which was a mess. The ranch isn’t even worth it- the honey mustard is okay. It’s just been a nightmare lately but the chicken is so good I think we’re just hoping for our fries to come out...
