My husband and I went in to celebrate our 28th anniversary on our way to game room. After ordering my chicken fried steak with my gravy on the side the waitress was nice explained extra fee for salad, it was fine. When my food arrived I received a tiny salad 1 tiny scoop of mashed potatoes and a huge plate of fried batter with gravy all over it. I tried scraping the gravy off my steak which was tiny it was all batter, I couldn’t get enough off so I waited and waited the waitress didn’t come back. The table behind us had a n attentive waiter, I stopped him and let him know there was a problem with my food. He went and got a manager, when she approached she already seemed upset, I told her what was wrong with my food. She said what do you want in a loud voice, there is only three other table with people eating in the place so it wasn’t loud enough for her to raise her voice. After asking what do I want she went to grab my plate and just kept going off mad that there was a problem. I explained I would rather not have it remade just please take it off since it was a bother. She went to the other servers and yelling she doesn’t want this she’s worried about gravy on her steak. It was very unprofessional, unpleasant experience. I will not be going back and treated this way for something that wasn’t my mistake. The waitress read back my order three times! They need a new manager with customer...
Read moreI used to love Elijah's, but after last night's experience I have changed my review to 1 star it would be zero. My baked potato was served to me ice cold, the chicken I got was too hard the first time so I sent it back when I got a new one the chicken was not done. My grandson was also on the outing and he did not get his food until the rest of us were almost done with ours. To add to the problem every time we wanted to ask a question our waitress was nowhere to be found. We had 5 adults andc4 children in our party spent well over 100 dollars and could've gone elsewhere, but we chose because we loved it. Now I won't be back for a while if ever and I plan to tell everyone I know that a restaurant I once recommended to people is not good anymore. You can go there if you want to get Salmonella food poisoning from undone chicken, but I won't. Thanks for a bad night Elijah's. Best Thing I ate thereafter night is the peppermint you give for...
Read moreThe waitress told us she could not bring us rolls because they were squished like pancakes. However the people that came in after us, by about 5 minutes, were given rolls that looked fine. I ordered the chicken and dumplings and my husband ordered the fish and mashed potatoes. Half my bowl of dumplings were raw and his potatoes were icebox cold and his fish was so greasy, neither of us were able to eat. When I showed the waitress the raw dumplings she stated she hated to see that and walked away. A little bit later she came back and was informed about the potato’s were cold. She stated all she could do was put it in the microwave. She brought us the check and it had a discount on there. When I went to pay the bill I informed the manager about the issue where she state if she would have know about both meals she would have given a bigger discount. She was informed that we didn’t care about the discount we just wanted to have a...
