What a hidden gem! We stopped on the recommendation of a friend as we were passing through Worcester. Kosher deli to die for! We live over an hour away and I know we will make the trek here again without a doubt. We ordered and then had a wonderful conversation with the Rabbi who was very welcoming. The deli is inside a synagogue. The Rabbi explained the history of the synagogue and their mission to use the proceeds from the deli business to do a mitzvah and provide camp for kids in the area. He explained how the temple is open to many people in the area to worship. As good as if not better than any NY kosher deli I have ever had- delicious corned beef , pastrami, brisket, deli turkey, Israeli salad, knishes, and more and of course Dr. Brown’s soda to round out our meal. We did take out but there are a few tables if you want to eat in. While we were there someone came in who said they had come from the south shore of MA almost 1.5 hours away- so clearly people are willing to travel for this yummy food! Do yourself a favor and make a pilgrimage for this awesome food - and support a wonderful Rabbi and his synagogue who seem to be engaged in many community...

Definitely the BEST Corned Beef & Pastrami I've Ever had...(Sorry Mum) The Owner is Very Personable, asked me to call him after I had a chance to eat my sandwich after first visit! I immediately called raving about his food!! It was a Delicious Experience!! At my first visit, I thought my GPS mislead me since the outside of the building did not appear to be a deli lol. Thankfully, he does have a sign out front, once I opened the front door, I was pleasantly surprised to see I was in a Monastery! I had a wonderfully, welcoming, warm experience I came back about a week later with a good friend who also was delightfully satisfied! This time, there was a celebration going on and we were welcomed in! A second glimpse at the down to earth, friendly owner! I had an opportunity to see smiling children in costumes loads of foods, music, enjoying their time with families! I certainly was blessed to witness the passion and heartbeat of Chani's foundation he built here! All Tips given support the Children! Such a BEAUTIFUL Thing!! Customer for Life, Thank...
Read moreI visited Chani's on a Sunday which he is trying for the summer and boy did it change my life. I got the pastrami sandwich and this thing was filling. My party also got the same and was equally impressed as well. The fries are delicious and have that crunch to which I desire in my French fries.
Chani himself manned the register and was so hospitable and a wonderful person to talk to. Him and his "Partner upstairs" are doing great things with the food but the community as well. Once he explained to me that profits help provide kids with activities, between camps and so on I think it made the food even better. I try to always support my community and if I can help by enjoying a delicious pastrami...
