My family goes to the Grafton Street Dairy Queen on a regular basis. I'm ashamed to say we have spent a little too much money here. Never once have I complained when they forgot to add something to my order, or when my order was extremely small as if they were obviously trying to cut back and save on costs. We always go through the drive thru. We don't always check our orders entirely as we obviously should, but we really don't have a minute to sit in the drive thru and go through every single meal. Over the past 2 months our meals have become smaller (5 chicken fingers) when there should be (6). The tiny amount of fries are ridiculous! Today my husband went and ordered (3) 6-piece chicken strips basket, and (3) large blizzards. It came to $66.35! 😲 When we opened our meal boxes hoping for what we paid for, all of us were shocked in disbelief! They didn't give the right amount of chicken tenders, and it looked as though they took one large fry order and divided it amongst the (3) meals! This is not the first time that this has happened. I have never, ever made a complaint. However, this time I called Dairy Queen to address this on-going issue. It becomes very irritating when you spend hundreds of dollars during the summer, and they consistently downsize your order! The woman manager that I spoke to, in no way was supportive to what I was saying. She said that she personally put our orders together and that everything was correct, when in fact she was wrong. I didn't want to make a huge deal out of some fries and chicken strips! I was completely dismissed as if I were lying and trying to get free food. This was not the case, nor would I ever do that. This seems to be something that this manager has obviously been doing for quite some time now, skimping on large orders to save on costs a little bit each time. It is very unfortunate. We have done alot of business with this specific Dairy Queen on Grafton Street in Worcester, as we live less than 10 minutes away. Due to the fact that this manager was not taking responsibility for her error, we will no longer be supporting this Dairy Queen. It has happened too many times. This is the first time I have ever made an official complaint against any restaurant. Something...
Read moreUnfortunately this place gets 1 measly star! First of all, we ordered a meal that was missing an item from both. Called the from the parking lot since we couldn't go inside and they lied and said they were out of that item. Then after a manager comes on the phone, magically they have the item and offered for us to come in the store and get it. They wouldn't let us order our food inside from the beginning so we had to get back in the drive thru line to place our order, which was mildly annoying but not their fault. The big let down was a little more serious. Consumers be ware. We have two kids with nut allergies. They handed us the blizzards we ordered. Upon asking them which blizzards were which, they tried "we don't know" because not only do they not label them, they don't even clean or change the mixers between blizzards. They blamed us because we didn't mention the allergies while placing the order. How would a customer know you don't clean mixers between orders for the simple fact that allergies exist and your establishment serves nuts??? Very...
Read moreDate is Tuesday February 16, 2021! I just came out of the drive thru, there was 1 car ahead of me. I was told to wait for my order at the side of the building as they were “waiting for patties” to complete my 1 meal. The car that was initially ahead of me was also told to wait at the side of the building, and with no other customers ahead of us it’s truly hard to comprehend what the long wait was for. I proceeded to wait for 10 minutes to finally receive my meal only to find the Fries STONE COLD! As if they were left to wait on some random counter for the “patties” to be ready, instead of preparing them at the same time. Apparently common sense is not so common. I did not pay for just a sandwich, I paid for the entire meal unfortunately however the only thing edible was the sandwich. Absolutely ridiculous, obviously the managers of this place care solely for their paycheck and run on home. The staff needs retraining. Will not be returning to...
