Normally we love Joey’s.. we go for special occasions or the occasional date night. Food has typically been fresh and really well priced with good portions. However Saturday we had an experience that will probably keep us from ever going back and spending money there.

Saturday we planned to eat at the bar, and although it was evening, the place was dead. It’s summertime so we didn’t think much of it. We got a drink and ordered an app to split. It was the carmalized jumbo shrimp app. When it came out, we were appalled that the entire $18 appetizer had 3, yes only 3 shrimp in it. The rest was gooey vegetables and some crunchy lo mein noodles. We were shocked. Then when we tried it, the shrimp tasted old and soapy. The dish was barely edible and I think we each took a few bites and decided to eat elsewhere after that.

I understand cost has gone up and prices have risen in return, but $18 for 3 shrimp that were supposed to be “jumbo” and definitely weren’t, that tasted funny, is outrageous in my mind. I should have taken a picture but I was honestly in such shock I didn’t even think. Sad because we did genuinely enjoy this place for...

I had no idea this hidden gem existed, especially because everything I tried was delicious. There was fresh bread on the table that was light, airy, and flavorful; served with olive oil/seasoning/cheese that was fantastic. I could have easily eaten the entire bread like a raccoon and been pleased. We had several appetizers and each one was good. Sliders had good flavor. The spicy sweet corn dip had lovely tri-color tortilla chips. The dip was flavorful and full of corn. The teriyaki chicken wings were crunchy and flavorful. volcano shrimp were delicious. Large shrimp breaded, fried, coated in a spicy sauce and cool ranch to balance the dish. The Bang Bang cauliflower had to have been my favorite dish, next to the bread. The cauliflower was deep fried and the perfect texture, drizzle of hot honey that I could have licked off the plate.

Returned for dinner. Had the chicken piccata and chicken Parmesan. Both were phenomenal. Giant portions, enough for at least two meals. Chicken was...

Wow, this was our first visit. I called to make reservations for two at the bar, they said they would also reserve a bat table for us just in case. Wr were fine with that. When we got there and saw how packed the bar/restaurant was, we chose to use the reserved table. Once we were seated at the very small pub table we realized this was too small to have the dinner we wanted to have. So we asked if it was possible to be seated at a regular booth. I They'll were extremely accommodating and sat us at a boot. (I know. Already I felt like I was being difficult, but they were so nice and pleased to fill our requests) We were greeted promptly and happily by our fantastic server, Jaimie. She was delightful and witty and made our experience one of the best we've had in a while! The food was amazing and was brought out in a reasonable time, even though they were VERY busy.Ee have found a new regular spot to visit and would highly recommend!! Thank...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We celebrated our 35th anniversary and my husband’s 56th birthday at Joey’s Bar & Grill in Worcester, and it was perfect from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I went to Joeys for the second time last night, and it was fabulous from start to finish. It was Valentine’s Day so we got their specials, and the seafood was fresh and delicious! The risotto could have used a little salt, but great portion sizes, and the service is amazing. The woman at the front is so kind, welcoming, and accommodating! We will certainly be back!
