This is normally our go-to breakfast place which has huge portions of delicious food. But today we had to leave without eating.. waitress was friendly and fast. When she brought us our food there was a piece of hair on my husbands plate (in plain sight), I spotted it immediately and pointed it out to the waitress. She promptly apologized and asked if he wanted his pancakes remade, he said no since it was just to the side of the food, no big deal-mistakes happen sometimes. Then I asked her why my omelet looked smaller than it normally comes, she agreed that it looked smaller and said she would talk to the manager and walks away. Okay so I start to cut my omelet and checking out my food when I found a pube-like hair in my homefries. (At this point Iâm not sure if the hair was put there intentionally since there was another hair on my husbands plate and bc I asked for my homefries to be extra crispy?) (I understand mistakes happen which is why we brushed off the first hair, but after the second?? How is that even possible??) Okay so we get grossed out and havenât even taken one bite when the manager comes over to tell me that the omelet isnât as big bc I didnât have meat in it and bc I asked for half the onions and peppers (which is the same way I always get it and itâs never that small).. so dumbfounded with her attitude I mentioned the hair on his plate and mine, she quickly swiped the hair off my plate (didnât apologize once) and quickly snatched our plates and said okay I wonât charge you for anything. (With the biggest attitude!!) And my husband said thatâs okay weâre leaving. She walked away mumbling something under her breath.
I am very disappointed and disgusted with the awful service I received from this âmanagerâ. Youâd think you would treat customers better so theyâd return? Iâve always received great service here I donât understand why she was so rude? Due to this womanâs attitude I doubt we...

Even though, I do not live in the area. I have visited this diner twice and each time has been a wonderful meal. If you are on a diet, do not go here. The portions are very large. On our first visit, our waitress had to tell us to change our hashbrowns to a half portion because we were going to have too much.
Here are the highlights and suggestions to make the most out of a visit to this great spot.
-Get their early â avoid the rush and enjoy a quiet morning with the regulars -Order the home-made hash. You will not regret it. -Check out an off their special offerings the Irish & Polish Benedict are great
Now, it is not a question that I will be back to this diner. Final note, Worcester is known for diners and it is really great to find a real well run diner keeping this great American tradition.
If you are interested in seeing the history of diners, go to the Miss Worcester diner which is one of the model diners which were originally manufactured in Worcester and sent around the country. I personally prefer Lou Rocâs all-around super star but Miss Worcester has some darn good cool French toast.
To see more pictures of Lou Roc go to foodlovergirl website. She took some great photos inside this...
Read moreMy mother came here with her friends and had a very bad experience. My mom has a pork allergy so she asked if an item she wanted was cooked with bacon. Her friends and I were shocked to hear the server was incredibly rude and dismissive to my mom and just told her that everything is cooked together. Server said if my mom doesn't need an epi-pen, that she shouldn't waste the cook's time just because she is "picky" because they're very busy. Most unprofessional restaurant I have heard of. I doubt it is allergy certified and any of the staff has been trained to accommodate, if what the server said is true. The food my mom did get still tasted exactly like the food her friends got that was cooked with bacon. She's not sure if they cooked it separately at all. She didn't like it anyway because it was too greasy and salty to her tastes, and the server was again extremely rude to her about it, even though my mom didn't say anything to her about the food. You should also note that none of the staff wear their masks properly, this server actually took her mask off to speak to the customers. Many of the customers also don't care about masks and staff doesn't enforce. Just don't come here if you have an allergy or dietary preference, or are...
