So glad for Mia Cane! Since they opened, I've become a big fan. Everything I’ve tried from their menu has not disappointed!
One of my favorite items is the Coco Mia with coconut pandan jelly. It's a delightful combination of cold-pressed sugarcane juice, coconut water, coconut bits, and coconut pandan jelly. The flavors blend together perfectly, and each sip is a treat for the taste buds. Super refreshing and perfect for cooling down on hot summer days.
I also have to mention the coconut jelly dessert from Coconut Jelly King that they had during the summer. It was so good! I hope they bring it back because I will definitely indulge whenever it's available!
In addition to their sugarcane juice, MC offers Açaí bowls packed with superfood goodness. You can add unlimited toppings to make it even more delicious.
Newly added are their croffles, a combination of croissant and waffle, a unique and tasty creation. They are crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, and the perfect canvas for a variety of toppings and flavors. Whether it's classic powdered sugar, Nutella, or fresh fruit with whipped cream, every bite is yum!
Last but not least, another addition is Vietnamese iced coffee. MC now offers this traditional delight prepared in a few different ways, allowing you to choose your coffee preference. Whether you prefer it strong and bold or creamy and sweet, they have options to cater to your taste buds. The rich and aromatic flavors of the coffee pair perfectly with the croffles, creating a truly delicious combination.
The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. They are always happy to assist and provide recommendations.
Overall, Mia Cane is a great place to chill and enjoy refreshing drinks and tasty treats. I highly recommend giving it a try. I'm looking forward to what new offerings they will have...
Read moreThis is a very welcoming and comfortable establishment. I once had a great conversation with the manager, and conversed about culture and the Mia Cane background. He's an intelligent, young man, extremely nice, and ambitious with a great personality. His staff also seem equally as nice and kind. The drinks, well... what's not to love about sugar cane??? I love the uniqueness of such a place. The different types of beverage choices and combos, and unique flavors not on other menus, like the calamansi.
The add-ins are delicious, and the growing menu for acai is very nice to see. I haven't had the acai there yet, but I will.
The croffles are so delicious and perfectly cooked. They are to be eaten right away, or as close to that as possible. So, if anything, give yourself time to at least eat that if your on the go, and then proceed with whatever else you are doing, and drinking the beverage.
I never leave with just one of their beverages. They are very refreshing, and set apart from the usual beverage choices that you find elsewhere. I usually buy 2-3 drinks at a time, especially since I don't go as often as I would like to.
The decor is really nice and fresh-feeling. It's vibrant and bright, sunny, and colorful between the menu and the overall esthetics of the establishment. I haven't had an issue with parking, because of thenrandom times that I go, but I can see rush hour for on street parking and business rush hour can possibly be challenging...or not.
5 stars, and "worth the Sip", lol. You see what I...
Read moreMia is just okay. I've been to Vietnam recently and also drink a lot of sugar cane juice during my frequent visits to little Vietnam in Houston and SoCal. This place sort of matches up. At the grand opening, the OG juice tasted pretty fresh and reminiscent these places, but more recently the juice has tasted less fresh and more syrupy? There's something off about the taste, but it's still better the sugary yeo's version you can find in Asian grocery stores. The real star of their show is their pennywort juice, which definitely tastes fresher despite being mostly mixed with coconut water.
Pricing wise, a "small" (16oz) is about $7 and a large (20-24oz) is $8.50 which around here might be reasonable, since there are no other options. If you don't want to put ice in your drink though, we were told it's an extra $3 charge for no ice to be added to your drink, which is a little hefty. I could understand maybe $1-2 more, but $3 objectively feels steep since that almost half of what I'm paying for a small. This would also put the juice at a price that's more expensive than most boba drinks.
I think it's worth trying if you've never had sugar cane juice before. It's fairly good quality and...
