This location has always been slow. Only come here during slow times of the day. Other times are maddening, even with the patience during this crazy Covid period.
If the app says it takes 25 minutes to fulfill your order, that's fine. I live about 8 minutes away and my order at 10:05AM said 8-11 minutes. I delayed and got there 15 minutes later, at 10:20. Waited for awhile and at about 10:30, I saw my cold foam CB. About 2-3 minutes later, I notice what looks to be my breakfast sandwich. I had a bakery item as well to wait on. But my prepared items sat in a queue, away from the front of the counter. The staff was flying around too much to be bothered. Anyways, I couldn't lower my mask and consume those things anyway, so I waited. A few minutes later, I walk up to the cashier and ask for any cold bakery item they can give me right now so I could make it home for my 11AM meeting. Nicely, she credited me my bakery purchase and said another person would get me what I ordered. After another 5-7 minutes, I walked out with a morning bun, lukewarm sandwich and a cold brew with the foam fully dissolved.
Was in that Starbucks for 25 minutes. It took 40 minutes from ordering to receiving the order in full.
This location is hot. Great location which brings heavy traffic. This is a sizeable store with small areas behind the counter to work. They need many more people especially during Covid. But they couldn't fit all they need. To their credit, the crew kept their cool even as they frantically worked while hearing more than a few heated words from frustrated patrons.

Read moreThis is by far the worst Starbucks. As others have said, it takes 45 mins for a drink no matter how you order it, and no matter what you order. They were fine where they were up the street on West Boylston, but they have been spinning out of control since they moved to the new building on Park Ave. They cannot exactly blame the pandemic, because this was happening way before. They are always short on staff, and the staff working there are either trainees, or people who don’t know what they are doing. I have observed a manager who was just standing behind a new employee; she was clearly struggling and the orders where piling up. This manager did absolutely nothing but watch. I have worked in the food business myself, yes you have to let new people learn by doing, but customers come first, so as a manager or experienced employee you need to roll up your sleeves and keep up with the orders. Otherwise your customers are not happy, and your setting up the new employee to fail. Do not make the mistake of entering their drive-thru, you will be stuck. I was in the area today, and online ordering was not available, so I figured let me go in. I get there and were doing ‘drive-thru’ only. No thanks, drive-thru was a mile long. Read moreI have been a loyal customer at this Starbucks for the past three years, visiting daily. Unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely disappointing.
During a drive-through visit, I received my coffee and sandwich but was not given a straw. I tried to get the staff's attention by waving, but no one noticed. I had to honk lightly to get attention, and the response I got was unacceptable. A staff member named Kate came to the window and reprimanded me for honking without even listening to my explanation. She was rude and dismissive, closing the window on me.
I then went inside to speak with her, and instead of addressing my concerns, she repeatedly told me to leave and refused to let me speak. When I asked to speak to her manager, she claimed to be the manager and showed no willingness to resolve the issue.
I also tried to call the store to speak with the other manager, Amber, but was told she was unavailable and didn't even return my call. This lack of professionalism and respect is extremely disappointing, especially as a frequent customer.
