Started off rough, but ended well. Got there around 4pm on a Saturday. Parking wasn't an issue but I can see it being a problem during a more prime time. It was getting tight when we went to leave. Anyway first time here, beautiful day outside so we requested the deck. Kinda felt like you're at the beach, about as much as possible considering you're along the Susquehanna. 90 degrees and I had sun blasting on me but that was my fault since I asked for it. Grabbed the drink menu and it's huge. We waited for service for a while but I didn't complain because I was so undecided on a drink. Well then we continued to wait, and wait. Literally 20 minutes have gone by and we still haven't had service. A table was sat right behind us and within 30 seconds a girl walks over to their table to take the drink order. After she was done and started walking away we flagged her down and expressed our frustration. A couple minutes later another girl comes over and apologized explaining something happened with the shift start at 4pm and blah blah. Anyway she wasn't originally supposed to be our server but was very apologetic and gave us incredible service. Took our drink and food orders right away. Drinks we absolutely delicious. After my first one I switched to a beer (yuengling flight). Unfortunately it was skunked but I powered through it. Then the food came. Had a kids chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. 11 year old daughter got the chicken parm which she loved but was a large enough portion to feed two hungry adults. Then there was the pulled pork baked potato meal. Where the heck do they find potatoes that big?! Literally a loaded baked potato that's a full filling meal, don't let that scare you away from ordering it thinking it won't be enough. Great feedback from that. Then I had the jerk chicken summer special. Overall we were satisfied by the time we left. Definitely will come back and want to check out their other restaurants...
Read moreFrom the moment we arrived Chey was so kind and warmly welcoming, We haven’t been to this restaurant before and weren’t really sure what to expect, Let me tell you, it was WONDERFUL Our server Bella could not have been better, she was so attentive and spot on with Her recommendations, She was so supremely welcoming also And Kindhearted would be a perfect word to describe Her, I could tell All the other servers were fun, kind, and there was a generally positive looking atmosphere about the place, as an award winning world-renowned chef and former restaurant owner, it’s a very rare thing to have so many dishes come out and to have every single thing look appetizing, I have to say It all looked so good that when we were done, we walked around to look at everyone else’s plates to get an idea of what to order next time!!!! (I think it’s going to be that orange wonton chicken bowl or the Fried fish and chips, the Chicken sandwich, And the huuuuuuuuuuuuuge taco bowl salad, whatever that was, all looked amazing and I saw lots of people inside ordering Pizzas and salads, I Absolutely loved my Fried Jalapeño burger, The Waffle fries were spot on, and My Husbands Salmon was out of this world, It won’t be long before we return and we’ll be telling everyone we know about this very special place, Keep up the great work, oh, also, the open kitchen theatre concept was perfectly done Here (it almost never is and never ever looks as clean as your kitchen does and you should be so proud of that, You have a really exceptional staff keeping that place looking good as new even after years of hard use I imagine) anyway, Bella was so spectacular and well ask for Her again when we visit, We enjoyed sitting in the middle but still by the water, It’s a really special place you have there and ya’ll should be so proud of yourselves keep up the...
Read moreThis is THE PLACE!! I have not seen anything like THIS before!! The atomosphere says it all! This place has really got it going on!! It certainly promises a VERY UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE! FIRST: This place is busy! LOTS of activity! I was there on a Saturday night-it was pretty full! The floor plan is very well laid out. Seating arrangement is very nice, inside and out! You could sit just about anywhere, and be comfortable. Right on the Susquehanna River, you can dine on the deck, & have a view, which makes it even nicer! TV screens are strategically set up, so you can get your sports game in, while you dine! Nice, roomy bar inside, and bar(s) out on the deck also. I had the chance to eat out on the deck, which was extra special to me!
SECOND: The food is VERY GOOD! There is something for everyone here! Brick oven baked pizzas, specialty burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken wings, fish & chips, salads, I could go on & on! Many items to choose from on the menu! Most, seem reasonably priced, too! In fact, prices here are very comparable to those in many of the franchise restaurants that we have in the area! Coincidentally, the menu here, is very similiar to the menu at DUKE'S, (please check out my Duke's review) which is coincidentally located right next to DOCKSIDE WILLIE'S, and also owned by the same people that own Dockside Willies. Both establishments are very nice, with very good food, and have very nice & inviting atomospheres. I just personally like Dockside Willie's a little bit more, because the atomosphere is a bit more livelier. They also had some pretty enjoyable music playing there, also. If you are looking for something more, than the same old, same old, then THIS IS THE PLACE, for you to come and see what I'm talking about. You'll be GLAD...
