Beautiful historic bridge. Great for a scenic stroll over to city island. At night they light up the bridge creating an awsome display over the river. If you are wandering Harrisburg at night I recomend stopping by.

Visited Harrisburg on Sunday 21 October 2018. The bridge looks nice from a distance. Up close it looks like Reading's Penn St. Bridge before its current makeover. Needs a lot of work. Don't park your car underneath.

Multiple bridges, some no longer in use, some just remains, makes for some great photo opportunities

I walk across this bridge from city island to get to work. They do a really poor job maintaining the sidewalks. There's constantly trash that just sits around on the sidewalks for weeks and weeks. The metal covers they have on portions of the sidewalk have some that are lifted up, and one thats rusty, and it feels unsafe. If you are looking to walk from city island to Harrisburg, maybe consider the walking bridge on the other...

You can seriously review a bridge? The coverings in the sidewalk for various hatches can be in disrepair that the sidewalk doesn't provide a smooth walking surface consistently across the bridge. Minor detail though as it seems to be en effective means to cross a body of water as a bridge...

This use to be one of my favorite places to go and think about things and remember that I still have hope in life to do impossible things. Its a great view and if you walk over it you can get a pretty good feeling for how big the river...
