Drove a long distance PAST OTHER RIB PLACES to get their food. Orders had the wrong sauces on them, called and spoke with the lady who told me she put the hot bbq sauce on herself and when I told her she put it on the wrong order very nicely (second time I called after I got no reaction or apology) she said nothing. Conversation went silent and when I said hello a few more times she hung up. As a patron of a black owned business or any business one would assume a call back is suitable to make sure people return and support your business and not think or feel like you don’t give a **. Besides that, order was dry (you had to funnel to the bottom for any sauce) and some of the ribs were slightly tough and burned. I ordered a Turkey from Rib Brothers for Thanksgiving this year 2017. I was to pick up my Turkey at 12:00 on Thanksgiving Day which I arrived 10 to 15 minutes early just to show I'm wasn't on (CP) time as we call for those who know what I mean. The young lady at the counter ask what time I was to pick up I said 12:00 and as we were talking one of the men came up front and stated out of his mouth it wasn't even 12:00 yet which put a bad taste in my mouth also it was my first time ever ordering from Rib Brothers so I wasn't too impressed by that at all. Have been living in the area for about 2 years now. Google to see some bbq locations near Oak Lawn and their location popped up. My many times of driving past this place, i decided to place an order after work. Since i didn't want to travel back to my old area of Hyde Park to get some good ribs, i decided to give them a try, but needless to say, this will be my first and last time going there. First off the rib tips were cut so Damn small that my little nephew or niece could've eaten the entire order themselves. Second, the hot links were so overcooked and dried out that they looked Nothing like links I've had before.
