Starbucks — Restaurant in Wyckoff

I visit Starbucks 3-6 times a week. This was my second time at this location and normally I don’t leave bad reviews if I’m disappointed. Everybody has bad days. But last time my order was wrong, no problem. This time I order something completely different. This is something I’ve ordered at other locations. I have NEVER seen so much ice in a cup. I paid $7 for ice. Normally there’s not much ice by the time Im done with the drink. I drank this down in two seconds. Obviously, there wasn’t enough oat milk in it because it was too much ice. And I didn’t realize until I was far so I couldn’t turn back around. What a waste of seven dollars absolutely ridiculous. I couldn’t tell how much ice was in it when the coffee was in it, As I started to drink it, I was like what is going on here. I won’t be going back to this location, obviously, but there were a bunch of employees there just standing around not doing much. There was no need for this to be so messed up. It’s not even like they were swamped and we’re trying to put out a million orders then I would understand ..I don’t know if the manager is instructing them to put that much ice in but never in my life have I seen something like that. I come here almost every weekend to get my coffee fix. It's fast and convenient especially through mobile order, however I've had issues three consecutive visits now so I just wanted to address it. Nothing personal. Ok, so I ordered a grande drink twice and both times the cup was about 2/3 filled. I don't know why I don't check it but I guess since I'm in a rush I don't realize it until I reach my destination. I first think that maybe someone forgot to add foam twice but anyway for a grande I feel I'm getting a tall instead. My third visit I ordered a peppermint mocha venti and it had the peppermint mocha taste but I swear it tasted like hot chocolate. It was like there was no coffee in it. Usually it's pretty crowded and the wait is long but that's usually mitigated by the nice outside seating and the fireplace inside. They used to not have decaf brewed which was annoying but they're better with that now. Tonight though we got pretty upset. The store closes at 11 and we got here at 10:25. We were looking for a dessert and coffee. When we tried to order, nothing was in the showcase except for 1 morning bun that the staff wouldn't warm up because the oven was shut off. When we asked about getting anything else, we were told everything was thrown out. I'm surprised Starbucks wouldn't think to donate leftover desserts to a local charity.
