This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in the suburbs of New York and the second or third if we consider NYC. I have ordered to go during Covid many times and it was very good, but in person it is superb. The staff is really nice with me and my kids, I was surprised (maybe too used to China Town) but felt really welcomed in their restaurant. Their food is really tasty and they do care about quality. The Hot and sour soup tastes really "natural" and taste is not strong but subtle and real, not like those powder msg soups everywhere else, their wonton soup is good not like those radioactive yellow soups that the average Chinese take out place offers. Spare ribs are really good, the dumplings are home made and good but I've had them better, they were not super tasty but still good, the General Tso chicken is incredible: Crispy, only white immaculate chicken with a perfect crisp and actually a good portion. (Remember to ask for extra sauce) The broad noodles are good, sticky, not oily but chewy and delicious pork chow fun. Me and my family had a really good experience. And of course, as with every food, it is so much better in the restaurant than being kept in a plastic container for 20 or 30 minutes. (still good though at home but worth going in person)

Do you think all of this food is worth 62 dollars? The food was so unflavored and its supposed to be some high end cuisine. No lunch specials. The chow fun was extremely oily the meat was thin but it was good. The noodles did not have any taste to them at all. They tasted old and oily. The rice was dry and tasted like it was yesterdays rice. The shrimp rolls were as if they left them out to dry for two days. The sesame chicken they look like they used decent breast meat in it but its like 18 bucks who the heck needs thar dish for that much. It was not sweet and crunchy. It was just flavored and soft in the inside. I really cant believe this place is in business with the way the food tastes and costs. The egg drop was so watery usually it has a thicker consistency to it. They were nice people in there though. Very nice to deal with. They will push you to pay cash to get 10% off like it makes a difference when your paying an arm and a leg for their food anyway. I regret we didn’t buy from across the street his darn place didnt come up in google. Your chineese man fix that! Your one of the smartest people on earth!

A hidden gem in Wyckoft NJ !! The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes. We started with a plate of pan-fried pork buns with a savory filling. For the main course, I can recommend the crispy schezuan beef and the General Tso's chicken. The spicy beef with garlic sauce was just spicy enough to get the tingle in your mouth without the sweating and heart racing. We combined this with sauteed string beans and Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce. All the dishes were delicious and well spiced. The portions were generous. Also the waiter was very attentive and the owner came by to check if we were enjoying the meal. There is a large selection of gluten free dishes.

Top of the line exemplary Chinese Restaurant. We remember them from 30 years ago in Time Square. Service was impeccable. My only recommendation is get there early, we arrived at 5 and by 6 almost completely filled and reserve a table in the back, because takeout is so popular it fills the front. Highly recommend it with the most high quality Chinese (Taiwanese). I would have added photos but we all were too hungry, We will be back for Chinese New Year's, I'll hopefully remember to take pics.

Update: Chinese New Year's. TS Ma is a restaurant paradox, eating in the restaurant conflicts with their takeout orders. Overall the restaurant is pleasant, but it appears most people have been disturbed by 3 &4 deep of people waiting for their orders, so it appears most people have chosen to pick up their orders to eat in peace.

I will say that the table next to us were the most inconsiderate people I have ever had the (dis) pleasure of dining next too. It was like a family left their children there, who ran amuk, while the parents absolutely blind to the screaming, running around and food apparently more on the floor, than in anyone's stomach. No discipline, no supervision, no parenting whatsoever. Sad!

For takeout orders, they should only allow 2 people in at a time. Give them numbers as they order and they can stand outside until their number are called. We will only order on line...

T.S. Ma has altered my entire concept of Chinese Cuisine and has become a weekly staple for me and my family. The staff is warm, friendly, and professional and the food is simply the best in Bergen County.

Fresh vegetables, tender proteins, and flavorful broths and noodle dishes are a few of the highlights of the menu. Whether you order the Tangerine Chicken, Beef with Hot Pepper Sauce over String Beans, Shrimp Lo Mein, or pretty much anything on the menu, you will not be disappointed.

Never again will you be forced to eat greasy low-quality food doused with sauces made from high fructose corn syrup. At T.S. Ma you will be delighted in the authenticity of the ingredients, depth of flavor in their sauces, and delightful presentation of their delectable dishes.

A spacious, well-designed interior accommodates its diners, and the restaurant facilities are kept clean and tidy. The servers and attendants are polite and courteous and reflect the good nature of the owners. Don’t forget to ask Stephen or Thomas about the story of their restaurant over the decades or how their specially crafted sauces are formulated.

Dining in Wyckoff has not been the same since T.S. Ma opened here and I hope they never leave!

P.S. My parents recently moved to South Carolina and the only restaurant they truly...

Atrocious service from beginning to end. I called a day BEFORE I had planned to come for dinner and asked if they took reservations. I was told it was first come, first served. The next day when my party and I arrived, we asked for a table for four. The counter person replied "do you have a reservation?" Next, our server took our order and then disappeared for the rest of our meal. No one once ever stopped by to check on us. At the end of the meal, I was sucking on my ice chips from my empty water glass to help digest my food. The manager took it upon himself to drop off a bottle of water because again, the server was MIA. A different server dropped off the bill. After I had reviewed, paid and signed it, the server couldn't of gotten back to the table fast enough to retrieve it. Upon almost exiting the building, he came running towards us saying "excuse me, you didn't put a tip!" Tip who?!? Tip the server who disappeared the entire night? Tip the manager who dropped off some water? Tip the server who dropped off the check? No one deserved a tip. Furious over the unprofessionalism, I spoke to the manager, Bill, and voiced all of my concerns. He seemed unbothered and not in the least distressed. But hey, four less paying customers are four less...
