Okay so the front desk people that take your order are extremely nice and so welcoming. That was a wonderful experience. The food however wasnt as good as I was expecting. The taco was literally meat on a tortilla. No cheese, seasoning sour cream. Nothing it was weird to call that a taco. Then the shrimp burrito. So it was alright mostly rice inside again very cheap with other ingredients I would have liked to have cheese, tomato, onion etc. There was a splash of that and mostly beans. The heartbreak of the meal was I was eating the burrito everything was okay then about halfway through there was no shrimp? It was like half a shrimp burrito the rest was rice and beans. I'm not sure it was a $25 meal in the end. It's a place I like the energy and kindness but I wish they would give people what they want. We want the good stuff in our burritos and tacos. You should ask if we want it dry or loaded or something to give us a heads up on what we are getting. My experience with Mexican food is it's not dry usually. This place has great food and really good service. We arrived about 25 minutes before they closed and we called ahead as we knew they were closing, they told us to come in as we were only 2 minutes away. We dined in and our food was delicious! Loved their Carne Asada and their Pollo taco dish was great as well. Chips and Guacamole are authentic and a must when you go here. We noticed they get a lot of take out customers which speaks to the awesome food. The ladies behind the counter who cook make amazing food. The managers/owners were very welcoming and accommodating. We are so happy to have found this hidden gem! Don't let the lack of ambiance detract from your enjoyment. You've come for the food and, let me tell you, you'll be coming back again soon! My husband had a steak taco and I had a mini burrito with pork for lunch. We both also got rice, beans and guacamole. I could have eaten just the rice & beans and been super happy - they were that amazing! My husband's taco was good...but the pork burrito was the star. Oh my word! So delicious!
