Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Wylie

I ordered delivery today and I am very irritated! For one it costed me over $40 for 2 of the giant bakers with chopped brisket, 2 rolls and 2 small sides of bbq beans. That was super expensive! The order was supposed to be delivered by 12:30 and I waited and watched the order tracker for over 40 minutes and it didn't budge so I called at 12:35. They said they didn't have my order and then they found it after a while of looking. Why was my online order so hard to find? Then they asked when I was going to come pick it up and I told them it was for delivery and they told me THEY DO NOT DO DELIVERY FOR ORDERS UNDER $70!!!??? That is Ridiculous!!!! The Website says you cant order delivery if its under $15. I mean I live 5 minutes from the place and I paid for a delivery tip! They finally said they would deliver it after talking to them but the woman sounded like she was mad at me or just irritated. I Love the Dickeys giant baker with meat but I am never ordering from there again! I'm sorry but a couple slices of free pie doesn't make up for all of that.It was nice but no customer should be told they are wrong, their employees should know how to find online orders and I'm just super disappointed because I used to...

Been going to this location since it opened in Wylie. Have always had good experience and the food was always good. In the last month or so don't understand what has happened but seriously questioning if we will ever return after our last dine in visit this week. The meat was not warm, most of the sides were not available and what was there was questionable. Green beans had a film that looked like they'd been there for days. Cold sides where room temperature and no desserts available. Not that this matters but No yellow cups.?? And the place really looked like its on its last leg of being open. But back to experiences. Went there 1 Tuesday to get Bakers and were out of potatoes.. OK it's like the Tuesday special. A few weeks later went to eat inside and there was No one out to serve you. We could hear them laughing from the kitchen so we called out to them a couple times.. no response so left and went down to Firewheel location.. if they don't set up their service other BBQ places are in town to...

Do not eat here! I use to go here a lot but today is the final straw .. usually the food is ok sometimes the meat it waay to fatty when I order lean and potatoes overdone or day old. Today I got the baker with beef lean .. the Potato was actually rotten like all black inside .. not burned smelled and rotten all the way through.. Now it was cut open so they knew and served it up anyway.. I took it back they laughed and the next potatoes was just stringy like old .. oh here’s a fresh one lol they put in some choc pie which I had to throw away and didn’t want .. can’t eat sugar. But no apology no fresh plate nothing just a stringy potato same bag.. maybe it’s just this location , probably 6 people No customers and it was 7:15 on Saturday 6/3 soo no excuses .. Take your business somewhere else.. old food is wasted money.. Negative zero stars but the site won’t allow zero .. Health Hazard since they have no standards .. the very least give me my money back but that’s ok they wouldn’t .....
