Well, so much hope for this thrift store. Way way way to expensive for donated items another thrift store using old pricing guide. If I see another Columbia coat at a thrift store for over 14 dollars I am going to scream get with the times they have a cash value of maybe 8 dollars nowadays. North face, any name brand made in china.is not worth premium pricing. Vintage is different. It’s just a shame how all thrift stores could help out there charities so much better with volume pricing if I see a old navy or gap priced at above 4 dollars I’m out they have no idea how to price to move and raise money on items donated to them. Do better don’t follow a goodwill model. So many locations and so many great items about 50% over priced. Their sale days suck the obviously pull items from floor. Greed kills until all charity thrift stores wake up and realize that you are helping people in your community and raising money for a charity not a profit store. You’re a non profit.. there are still great thrifts stores in this state that get it still and run like a charity to help its community. Greedy over priced donated goods is not a good look. I’m sorry to leave this review but I am so sick of it. Cash value not wishing to get pricing! If you are going to do that just sell all your donated goods online which I’m sure they do. And mark way way up. Need to be up front when donating. It is not your private closet.
Please do better! Cash value what you can get for item immediately you could hold up a Columbia jacket and maybe get 8 dollars maybe instantly. Online 24 to 40 dollars depending on where made and style. If you want proof go to goodwill and watch bulk items look at all the Columbia stuff go for Pennie’s on the dollar because they sat on their shelf way way overpriced. I hope they take it to heart but they won’t greed kills and until changes are made I will not be going to family pathways. Its not your...
Read moreI stopped in to this store today. I have visited the store multiple times in the past and had marked it off of my list of places to thrift shop due to high prices. Well I decided to give it another chance today and someone in the back must think very highly of themselves and that all of the garbage they touch is instantly turned into gold. They had prices marked so high on their vintage items that it was laughable. I did look a few things up thinking maybe this is an item that has just skyrocketed in price over the last few years. This was not the case. I looked up a few items and all of them were priced 20 to 40% over what they are selling for on eBay. It is a pretty cool museum if you just want to go and look at some old toys but if you are looking to buy toys just search eBay. This was very disappointing. I did see that this location was charging to look at their items before others were allowed when this event kicked off a week ago. If you wanted to pay $50 you could have early access to their overpriced items. I hope that the rest of that family pathways stores do not begin this type of business practice. I arrived at your store in a good mood and walked out frustrated and disappointed. It was like going to a garage sale at a hoarders house who is trying to charge $5 for an empty Cool whip container. Your store makes Goodwill look like a great bargain. If I could give you zero stars I would. One star seems...
Read moreI like this store. It has a variety of goods and until today the staff have been friendly and helpful. Today, it was raining and 37degrees, The parking lot was like a ice rink. My friend and I when we were going in , took sand from our car and put on out pathway way into the store. As we were checking out, I noted to staff that a young girl was slipping and falling down. Staff replied "we cannot sand or salt the entire driveway " I stated that even the sidewalk is icy. We did some of the front entrance when we came in." She stated "I can do that when I have time" I. She did not greet people or offer a smile. I found this to be unsatisfactory service for a employee of Pathway and the values that is in...
