My name is Ryan. I placed and order for two pizzas and a stuffed howie bread online for delivery at 3:33pm. It said 40 min wait time. I decided to track the order. After close to an hour it finally updated to complete, but I did not have my order. I called into the location that I ordered from to inform them of this. A man answered the phone and then passed me off to a woman named Amelia. I told her what was going. The first thing she told me was that the address they had for me was wrong. I told her that I could pull up my receipt that shows that it is the correct address. She said "i have it to". She then went on to state that the team tried to call my phone. I informed her that I did not have any missed phone calls and the buzzer to the apartment never went off. She ignored my statement and went on to tell me that they can remake the order and get it out to me. I asked for a time and she said about an hour. I was not pleased with that as I've already waited an hour for a $55.00 order. I asked if there was going to be something done due to this mistake. She replied that it was not a store error, so there will be nothing done in regards to the service that I received. She then went on to say that it was a web order error and that she would have to pull something out of the trash to verify what happened. I told her that I did still want my order, but I'm not happy about waiting. I asked if there was a Manager that I could speak to. She informed me that she was the Manager. I asked for her name. She hesitated, but finally told me Amelia. I asked for her last name, but she rudely refused to give it to me. I was told that I did not need her last name and that she is the only person at that location by that name. She ended the phone call abruptly right after. At this time I'm furious with how I was treated by this location. That may be the worst customer service that I have ever received. She is not a good representation of Hungry Howie's. I've ordered from different locations all over Michigan and have never been treated so poorly. Based on how I was treated I do not even know if I would feel comfortable eating the pizza that should still arrive at some point I hope you take the time to look into this matter as this has made me want to boycott ever ordering from Hungry Howie's again. Thank you for your time.
The delivery driver that came out to bring me the pizza on the second attempt was extremely polite. She apologized up and down. Said that I could remove the tip if I wanted. I did not as it was not her fault that I was upset. I appreciate her taking the time to walk me through what happened on her end. She deserves some recognition because she...
Read moreOur pizza order is always unique/complicated and it's always delicious and hot!! Very good job, couldn't have asked for it to be better but to top it all off Cathy was our delivery driver and she is just the sweetest human being. Delivery drivers go through a lot, too much for what I'm assuming they're paid, and she had a rough delivery before ours, she has delivered our pizza several times and is always so nice, she doesn't deserve anything but happy receiving customers!! No matter if it's thunder storming or snowing, she's happy to serve our dinner and have a good conversation. Tonight she forgot to hand us the pop, no big deal, it happens! I actually forgot I ordered it because it was last minute. Cathy drove back having been gone already 10 minutes, and delivered the pop. She goes above and beyond when other pizza shops would not come close to the service that is provided here at the 44th street Hungry Howie's. I think everyone there deserves a good raise/bonus, especially the wonderful, and one and only, Ms Cathy. For real. Dinner has been taken care of for us and thousands of others for years by your people and Cathy, she has won us over for sure with her outstanding customer service and personality ❤️ We for sure appreciate it greatly and will always order here! Well wishes for...
Read moreI ordered a $30 pizza for me and my 2 year old daughter after 40 minutes of waiting it arrived cold. I called them and spoke to the manger Bailey and was told since my child had eaten a slice it "couldn't have been that bad". I explained I had given my child a slice because I wasn't gonna make my child wait 40 more minutes for a pizza that should have arrived warm in the first place. They said they wouldn't do anything but give me a coupon for a free $6 bread stick. Save yourself time and $ don't order from them. Update Called corporate and complained. Also after writing this review Bailey has reached out and told me the same thing as list above that pizza wasn't that bad even when it was cold. And if I called again and complained I would be speaking to him. He then called a second time to say the same thing that it doesn't matter how many complaints I make that it isn't gonna change and he will deal with them. When I said I didn't appreciate the attitude and rude behavior and they would no longer have my business he said "we'd appreciate that" and that "they don't need my business". So id say if you order from here and they mess up your order just never...
