Just how I remembered it! My grandmother, mother and I used to come here every week. my favorite dish was the broccoli and cheddar soup. I am constantly telling people about how good the soup is and since they closed the store in Kalamazoo I haven't actually been able to get any to bring home to share with my friends to show them how good it was. Well it just so happened that I was cruising through Grand Rapids while going to pick up some car parts and I seen Russ's so I stopped in and it was a gigantic nostalgic throwback in time. The staff was amazing and listened to my story. They sent me off with a quart of their broccoli and cheddar soup and I went home and shared it with my girlfriend. It was amazing just like I remembered! Everything, the smell, the feel, the atmosphere, the food it all just made memories pour back. Memories of my grandmother that I cannot make any more because she's no longer with us. All I have left is what's in my head. It was wonderful today thank you everyone!...

I started to make an online order but started driving so ordered at the drive thru. I had a sandwich, soup, 2 regular shakes and a children's shake in my cart for my online order so I ordered it the same way. Tommy informed me kids shakes were only available with a kid's meal. I told him it would let me order it online and he just repeated it is only available with a meal. At the window I showed him my phone screen and instead of offering to make one and charge me that price he just said "it's not supposed to be that way." That is not my problem that the online ordering doesn't match how you charge people but I'm trying to support local businesses and get my child a chocolate shake. I said I'd go next door and get one from Mr. Burger, to which he told me to have a nice day. This is the last time I'll be going to Russ'. I immediately went to Mr. Burger where they were more than willing to make us a small chocolate shake. Thanks for nothing...

I love Russ's and this location is a hit. I ordered through Door dash and when I got there to pick it up they let me know I could save money by ordering through the website instead. I was thrilled and will definitely do that next time. The food was exactly what was ordered and it even looked like the pictures. I was late picking it up my order but my food was still delicious and warm. The dining area is dated but kept in good order. Even the buffet was clean and organized for the next day's service. The tables are all kept well and booths looked in good shape too. Next time I need a quick bite in that side of the city I will definitely stop on for a better review. I ordered the fish and chips dinner and my partner had the Julianne Salad and both were amazing. They also have a drive thru in case you can't...
