Please note that this is NOT a review on the person who was working the counter. It's on the person who wasn't. I had placed an order online, and when I walked in to pick it up, there was a line. I started to look around to see if there was a place to pick up online orders, but before I got to look around, the man behind the counter announced that he was the only one there and that if we had online orders it was going to be a while. I understood, and patiently waited in line. A couple of times the man called out loudly, presumably to someone in the back, that he needed back up, and no one answered. He was clearly, and understandably, flustered, but still gave each customer his undivided attention. When I got to the front of the line, I told him he was doing great and if he needed a second to catch his breath or whatever, I could wait. He declined, and I told him that I had placed an order online but knew he hadn't had a chance to do it, so I hoped me waiting in line gave him a chance to catch up. He then pointed to a shelf along the back wall that was for online order pick up, and sure enough, my order was there before I ever walked in. I was frustrated that I'd waited in line when I didn't need to (only because he specifically said when I walked in that online orders were going to be a bit yet), but I don't blame the man at the counter. Someone was clearly in the back and refused to come to his aid which caused him undue frustration during the lunch rush. He was short with me, and I didn't like that, but I know it wasn't his fault. According to one of my co-workers it's like that every day, so it's not a matter of someone not showing up today. The manager should be up front helping during the rushes if he/she can't find more help. (which I know is a regular problem) I also think there should be a way to turn off online ordering if the shop is short-staffed so that the worker can focus on the person in front of him. There's another Subway about a mile down the road, and if this shop can't properly staff during the rushes, there's no need to wait in long lines when there's another one that is...
Read moreRebecca…. The reviews are spot on. I will not be returning to this location, I will drive past this location to a subway further from my home after the interaction I just had. First instantly rude vibes, not welcoming, not friendly, I asked for double meat ham and turkey I saw her not double the ham (6 slices on a footlong for ham isnt double) she also only did 1 layer of turkey so I clarified maybe she just thought I meant ham and turkey is double, so I said no double ham and double turkey so she added 1 more layer of turkey, I then said you didn’t double the ham, she replied yes I did. I said there are 12 pieces of ham? She said yes there is a total of 24 pieces of meat on this sandwich. ..
Lo and behold I get home and disassemble my sandwich to find only 6 slices of ham and 12 pieces of turkey. But I was charged for double meat. It’s the principle that she argued with me and was less and less friendly which isn’t saying much since she...
