Wendy's — Restaurant in Wyoming

Honestly if I could give negative stars I would. This location had a lot of customers coming in and I watched about ten leave in the hour in a half we were there. Bad service the front register was greeting customers with what's up and hey along with rude comments to the customers. We waited for awhile to order and when we did we waited twenty minutes for our food which were not given with our drinks. As I sat with my nephews my brother waited at the register for the drinks. He was told to hold on and in a minute and the worst was after I take this order. Mind you there were two registers with probably ten people still waiting to order, that register never opened. And so I went up for the drinks and was asking for the manager and no one came. A young women comes up front ask the front register guy something and then she proceeds to leave. I am assuming he didn't actually tell her anything. Then I say louder for a manager and the register guy says I am doing the best I can. Now I know they were busy but a drink takes seconds and as multiple customers said behind me 'finish one order before moving on to the next' and he was on order 4 with the first order still missing a sandwich and drinks (that is us). It took a lot of getting loud which I don't like to do but I will when I am being talked down to by someone I just purchased food from. I get it he dislikes his job and it's probably a high tune over rate but do not ever treat customers like we are an inconvenience to you. Terrible thanks to the manager who tried to pull it together...

Generally pretty okay. They can vary in terms of who is on staff for service. I generally just c want to get my food and leave, not talk with the fast food people, so I don't see them as rude. Please remember, it's very hard working back there for hours on end and dealing with some customers who are entitled a-holes, at least three a day like that. Some of them are in these reviews right now. I worked fast food for a long time, people are horrible to them.

That said, as much as I like Wendy's and don't mind waiting, I'm a little sad that the morning frosty-cinno is more bitter than in the afternoons. I love how it normally blends so well, perfectly creamy and everything, but the morning I got it with their new breakfast items, it was bitter and tasted burnt. Clearly overbrewed and not enough creamer or flavor in it. I did not complain at the time, but please Wendy's, you need to make sure your coffee is on a timer so it doesn't burn or overbrew. I know some of the Starbucks folk from across the street come over here; I used to all the time when I worked there. Take some tips from them or something.

Chili is great here, and the burgers are excellent. Love the spicy chicken. Really have never had an issue with orders being wrong here, though did accidentally get a homestyle chicken when I asked for a spicy one once. It's rare enough this happens that I assume it's just the workers being tired or new. Plus, attached gas station with the best selection of different energy drinks I've found...

I've been to this location a handful of times now, as it's near my apartment. I usually choose to go inside, but it's pretty obvious that much more emphasis is put on getting drive thru orders out quickly than taking care of people at the counter. (I say this because my boyfriend was waiting in the car and saw at least half a dozen cars go through the drive thru in the time it took me to get my order ...which consisted of one sandwich, one fry, and 3 drinks). Today I counted at least six employees there...one on drive thru, one on counter, a few in the kitchen, and one young man that looked to be a manager (based on the different shirt he was wearing). The manager looking kid spent more time flirting with a couple of girls that were waiting on their order than actually helping get orders out (or taking orders from the line of people that were waiting). I must have stood in line for a good 15-20 minutes with one person in front of me while the "manager" goofed around behind the counter, carrying around a trash can and complaining that they were running out of everything. The young man that took my order was friendly enough, but didn't seem to understand that he could continue taking orders instead of standing around by the fry station and waiting for food to be ready. The staff here would benefit from some serious customer service training. I don't plan to return to...
