Wyoming Parks & Recreation — Attraction in Wyoming

Parks & Rec to the rescue! I drove out to GR from Muskegon to grab one of my favorite restaurants. It was a nice day, so I decided to find a local park and eat outside.

Google gave me Hillcroft Park (I didn't not pay attention to the name, this will be important later), without a second thought, I followed the GPS there, proceeded to grab my lunch, and sat down at the pavilion. The park was neat and tidy, and the Parks & Rec team were doing some maintenance in the background.

I finished up my lunch, went to put away my leftovers in my trunk, and closed the trunk with my PHONE AND CAR KEYS IN IT!!!! Here I'm standing flabbergasted, staring at my locked trunk, my podcast still playing in my headphones from my phone, which was now inaccessible. I never turned on Siri for voice commands, and I can't recall a single phone number in my contacts....in my panic, I wasn't even sure what the name of the park was!

I ran up to the working Parks & Rec crew and explained my predicament. The team was so sweet and immediately jumped to help me. They were able to contact a locksmith, and let me chill in the shade until help came.

I appreciate their assistance and understanding! Thank goodness for Parks & Recreation! My heroes! They also gave me a park map before they left, so I'll be sure to come back and check out the other lovely parks the City of Wyoming has....

Don't go up to Crystal for peace and quiet. They apparently feell it's necessary to pay someone to use a weed eater continuously all day long trimming the natural vegetation. What this is accomplishing or what the purpose is, i don't know but i don't pay my annual pass to go up to the lake for some quiet time and hear nothing but some guy with a weed Wacker for 5 hours. Incompetence in maintaining fields at Lamar and Lemery. Been over a month and nothing has been done about complaints of field conditions!
