So the pizza was actually pretty good. I would say the crust needs some seasoning as it was plain in flavor and as it cooled even more so. I got the four square I think it was called. So tried the general types most might order plus a specialty. Overall the flavors were ingredient wise good and what you might expect with fresh or recent vegetables not frozen. Now compared to the other places this all put me at $20. What I got i could expect $15 max. I could literally drive to Sunnyside to Snipes Brewery and get brick fired pizza plus a beer maybe two. So next time ill just take a trip down there and get something I deem price worthy. Some nice notes is the place there seems pretty good and older diner style for pizza places. Salad bar is average and nothing to write home about, like just hop over to Wray's and buy a ready to go salad. Though they have a neat looking arcade and the staff was pleasantly natural.

I've been to many Abby's throughout Oregon and I will say that this one is excecuting at a high level. That's the thing about these franchise restaurants, they all have the same tools to work with yet some are terrible while others make the most of the recipes and ingredients. The pizza here was perfectly cooked. Not underdone like most places trying to rush orders out the door. The toppings were plentiful and well distributed. All Abby's.franchisees should have to take a business trip to this location to see how pizzas should be made. The bread sticks however were pretty bad. Old with sparse old cheese. I will give them a pass next time.

A regional chain that offers pizzas, that while a bit expensive, are absolutely loaded with quality toppings (the Abby's special did not disappoint). Come in expecting a casual pizza and beer joint, built around counter service and with a bit of an 80s vibe (including a small arcade). The beer selection was small but had great options and was surprisingly reasonably priced. I'm not sure if it's legendary, but it's a solid option in West Yakima.

Used to be the best pizza in town. I have been there once since new owners took over. That night I was told 2 managers walked out, the gas oven pilot light went out causing the whole restaurant to smell like gas. We had a birthday party there. After watching people getting their pizzas and waiting 45 minutes for my pizza , I asked how much long it would be. They lost my order and offered to start making the pizza which I had to refuse because the party was almost over. I got a refund and asked if they were willing to do something to make this right. They replied, "you got a refund". Yes I did, and I went home hungry that night.

2018 March 25: I just looked at this place and found my review got a response... from the "owners" or "corporate". Please don't ask me or other customers how to run your restaurant/franchise. Especially when I walked out hungry after waiting 2 hours for food and while 2 of you managers walked out / quit that same night. How can you do better? Demand better! How can you make it up to me? Use your imagination and let me know.

I truly miss when this was a 5 star pizza place. I hope you can make me a believer again.

January 30, 2019 update. The pepperoni pizza special has been on point this month. Thank you Abbys. You are on the right track to making me a believer again. Thank you thank you thank you. I moved you up to a 3star because of it. I am waiting for taco pizza to be your special again before I bump up the rating further. Good work! I appreciate it.

2019 October 1: I just ordered another pizza for delivery... I have not received it yet but I feel that I am due to update this review. I have been a continuing to get pizza from Abbys and they have been very good. The staff has always been friendly. Rex, knows me by name. The pizza quality has been great. I missed taking advantage of the last taco pizza special but with how this place has been doing otherwise, I am a believer. Thank you Abby's, thank you to the management, thank you Rex... as you have been the difference maker.

I am upgrading my review to 5 stars with the contingency that the taco pizza and the fajita pizza are of excellent quality next time they are on special.

Thank you Abby's!

2020, January There seems to have been some personnel changes. I dont see Rex anymore, who always was attentive. There is a change over of employees who are nice but dont seem to care as much. I do notice the two ladies working there that are super helpful and attentive... sorry I will catch your names next time I come in. The pizza is good... the quality control and quality assurance has declined. I love this place and hope the can put it back together... thus the new 4 star instead of 5 star.

2022, October The pizza i still good from my experience. Though I dont frequent this place much recently, as their special absolutely suck most...

It had been a while since our family had Abby Pizza and we had something to celebrate- why not make reservations? Abby's has a great rep and our memories had us excited for the best pizza in Yakima! We get there and it was dead, which we actually were excited for, being that some of us have kids. We order chicken and spuds, garlic knots, garlic Parm bread and a Giant pepperoni pizza. We got a variety to sample! Then we all got drinks, except for beer because no one could pour it that was of age-good job Abby's. The kids spent an embarrassing amount of money on arcade games also. Just saying, money was spent.

2 stars was generous but the pizza was great (not giant, but very good) and the kids enjoyed the arcade games. The crew working was embarrassing the Abby's name. Not professional, not kind and no sign of hospitality in sight. No one ever checked on us, we were treated poorly when asking if sauce was available for the spuds or chicken, there was specials on the screens no one knew anything about and their conversations were way more important than our wanting to try more food. That's just the crew and it was enough to put a bad taste in your mouth. Then The chicken was unbelievably dry, equivalent to gas station fried chicken, wish I could say I was exaggerating. The garlic knots had so much RAW garlic on them that they were inedible and not to mention wayyyy under cooked and the Parm sticks were doughy, inedible. Money wasted.

We live in west valley now and were excited to have a pizza joint to have our family nights and gatherings at but we honestly will never come here again. Such a bummer, guys. As good as the pizza was, they have the potential to do great things.

Update: they got a hold of me, to...

This place sure went down hill fast. Abby’s used to be good pizza. Expensive but still good quality. Literally in one day the pepperoni small personal pizzas went up a dollar had 1/3 the pepperoni (like 6 pieces on the entire pizza) and no sauce. On Wednesday I ordered a pizza for lunch. It was exactly how I ordered it. About $8 for a tiny 1 person pizza. On Thursday for dinner, literally the next day the pizza was almost $10, no sauce at all whatsoever, 6 tiny pepperoni pieces and didn’t see any cheese either. Probably the worst pizza i have ever but into in my life! Been all over the world and yes it was the worst. Your better off going to Donita’s at least you get a big pizza for $14 and it has pepperoni on it. When I said something to the cashier she argued with me that the meat was the same as always… nope and no it wasn’t. They didn’t offer to remake it or fix it or anything. Super expensive and New York prices for horrible pizza and service.

One bad experience ruins it for me ever going back there.

Update: You can tell by their response to my review that it’s a cut and paste and they have no interest in improving their food or satisfying their customers. It’s a take what we serve and deal with it place. Even mods and Sinatra at least tries to remedy...
