Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Yakima

3/26/19 . So my wife is in the hospital and I spent my time with her like a husband do and my freind offers to buy me a quick dinner and normally we both like the menu but tonight's cook even know it wasn't closed until 20min decided to take it out on us it seems like onion rings was burnt to no end through everything on my # 3 and smashed it like a pancake my friend got the bag of burgers that's advertised on the billboard out side and his was so lame and mind you his large onion rings burnt to no end so we have to only hope that we can get a warm meal for us tonight sure don't feel like the $ 25 bucks he spent on helping a friend out was well spent I hope the owner will respond to this problem promptly and address this issue from the cook and hopefully everything meat wise was cooked to proper temperature so we dont get ill from what he or she might have caused. I will take the time to talk honestly about this to the owner as he knows of me from doing construction mantanince work for him. Driving on Nob Hill in Yakima heading towards Union Gap, I was in the mood for a burger. Restaurant possibilities began to circle (no pun intended) in my mind, when lo and behold........Arctic Circle. The drive through was almost empty, as was the parking lot, so I decided to take the plunge. The prices for just about everything seemed reasonable. In fact, value entered my thoughts as I perused the menu board. I of course refuse to judge a book by it's cover. With that said, after receiving the bag that contained my order, I immediately understood the pricing. The taste, or lack of, was recognized only after I noticed the size of my hamburger. Bacon double cheese brings images of (at least for me) too big for 1 hand to hold, unless one enjoys staining a shirt form the falling garnish. I acquaint the portion size to a kids meal which absolutely annihilated the value theory. As I said before, the taste of my burger wasn't immediately noticed, which happened to be rather bland. I would not recommend Arctic Circle to anyone looking for a burger that satisfies visually as well as...

This was a great experience. I haven't been to a Arctic Circle in 20 year's and finding out this was here was well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to share the experience of eating here with my kid's as my parent's and grand parent's did with me. The restaurant was very clean inside and out, the staff was very happy, friendly and looked like they liked their job. Okay so on to the food. The food was great and just as I remembered it ( maybe a little different but still about the same 😁 ), it came out hot and fresh with the drinks being ice cold. If you are in town and looking for a good place to grab a quick bite then I strongly would recommend going here especially since there aren't many Arctic Circle restaurants around anymore.
