Tasty Wok ( Chinese Restaurant) — Restaurant in Yakima

To little for too much in cost. Or not enough for price. Chinese food is all mostly cheap ingredients. And not too filling to boat. A combo order Combo 5 & 7 should cost $5 - $6 take out each. Not $13 - $15 each.. Too much for too little. Plus the cooked veggies where too soggy. Cooked in a wok should still have a fresh crisp taste yet cooked up. Not taste like they came out of a can all soggy. Not enough battered fried meat also. The pieces of meat where not even bite size they where closer to 1/2" to 1/2" in size and mostly batter on top. For that size should have had 3x to 4x more amount of meat. Even at $5 - $6 a order. If meat is to high go to local rancher's for meat or if they charge to high get meat in Montana, they have to much and the government is trying make them kill their herds. They are trying to starve us out. Just like they did the Native American Indian's. Starving people are much more compliant. They are also trying to infringe on the rights to bare arms. No weapons, no fighting their tyranny which is...

I cannot rate their food or atmosphere as I have never had the chance to dine in. They advertise dine in but every time my family and I have gone thinking we could dine in, we were told take out only. Once they told us they were short of help. This has been the case every since they opened. Once again our family wanted an indoor dining experience and was told no only take out. This cannot be the result of covid19 as all other restaurants have returned to normal. Once when we drove by, the parking lot was full of cars. Obviously there was indoor dining, and it would happen on a day when our family was not there. Being constantly turned away by "take out" only, has resulted in unhappy patrons who no longer plan to...

Currently the Tasty Wok is take out, and the parking lot is always full! Should tell you something about their food! Delicious 😋

The family style dishes are generally good for 4/5 people to share. The combination dishes, generally a single serving, will feed two people. I love the #1 combination: sweet & sour pork, pork chow mein and fried rice.

Tried their shrimp egg foo young, again delish! As was the coconut walnut shrimp 🍤

If you don't call ahead you will have a 20 minute wait depending on the time of day.
